I hope you can make it happen soon, I have shane at 8 hearts and saw his blue chicken cutscene but no matter what i try i can't seem to get blue chickens
After the 8 hearts scene with Shane you can buy blue chickens from Marnie. When you choose the chicken coop you can see the color of the chicken at the top of the screen. If it's not a blue hen, you cancel the purchase and try again.
Don't worry I'm actually working on that right now, I have to actually write in stuff for content patcher for it to work the way I want it to. I should have it done in a few hours. And the issues on my other mods I'm still looking into, I'm still pretty new at this but hopefully I can get it figured out or someone with more experience pinpoints the issues before I do. (One thing I actually can fix at the moment) XD

The way json assets loaded my stuff was iffy so I did it the long way with content patcher, if you look at the modding data on the stardew wiki it really helps but the main two parameters were the object data and the recipe data. I goes in depth with both but you have to make sure you put everything in the right order. I had to retest it so many times XD If you want look at my content file for the recipes for a basis
Hey! I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but where are the recipes supposed to be obtained from? I visited Marnie but she didn't sell me anything (I know the recipes are in game because I saw them hidden in my cooking tab). Thanks, Tulaash
They all should be known by default, I didn't add a spot where they could be purchased due to all the issues from this last update. So check your kitchen and they should be there~
I'll make the recipes purchasable in the Animal overhaul I'm working on but for right now they are readily available.
In multiplayer, if you try to buy a chicken, the brown and white will let you select your coop as expected, but if the games offers a blue chicken, the "select a coop" screen will soft lock you. Thankfully I'm not the host, so I can just exit the game when this happens, but still.
Edit: this was in 2.3.0 of the mod. I just updated to 2.5.0. Will let you know if that fixes it.
Please do, I haven't done any combability multiplayer stuff. So any issues I can work on will be appreciated I'm also not sure if the same thing will happen in a solo play or not, but I will be adding the ability to incubate the eggs this week and hopefully that fixes some of the issues
Sorry for the delay, can confirm this mod is causing the issue. This same issue also occurred when trying to move a blue chicken to a different coop in multiplayer.
If you can translate it by all means, I don't wanna butcher it else I'd do it myself. At most I can do is may Spanish and Japanese XD, as long as you credit it I don't mind.

Eggs should also be able to be incubated now as well.

Also I am getting blue eggs but not blue mayo and yes, I installed all the prereqs including the prereqs for the prereqs.
