[Content Patcher] Can't apply data patch "(CP) Roosters! > Include data/hatching.json > EditData Data/FarmAnimals #11" to Data/FarmAnimals: the field 'Brown Chicken' > 'White Chicken' doesn't match an existing target
Hey Mearakat! I noticed a small error in patch #11 of the hatching.json. The TargetField you’ve set as [“Brown Chicken”, “White Chicken”, “Blue Chicken”, “Void Chicken”, “Golden Chicken”] aims to apply the edit to all the chickens at once. However, TargetField works like a breadcrumb path. Imagine it as navigating through nested folders. What happened here is that Content Patcher was instructed to search for a “Golden Chicken” "inside" a “Void Chicken,” then "inside" a “Blue Chicken,” and so on. It’s a bit like this: Brown Chicken └── White Chicken └── Blue Chicken └── Void Chicken └── Golden Chicken
To fix it, each chicken should have its own patch. I hope that helps! :)
Yes sorry I knew of this, however I got caught up in life for a bit and then our internet went out. I do really wish i could put multiple targets in to that field (which is why that got rewritten that way). I'll push this fix ASP
I may be doing something wrong or just not understanding, but I cannot seem to put Fertilized Eggs into the incubator? I made sure I didn't have anything that effects the incubator or roosters. I even removed the addon for this mod to make sure I wasn't messing something up and no luck.
I removed everything that should touch Incubators other than Progress Bar, which doesn't do anything but give a little counter so you know how long it has to hatch.
I don't have anything to make extra incubators, touch incubator touch times, not even the extra content mod that goes with this one. So I'm absolutely baffled. I do have a nice chunk of mods, but none that mess with incubators that I know? And I'm not getting any errors or anything that I've seen. So I'm really not sure what is messing with it. I don't even get anything in game saying "you can't put this there" or anything. The egg doesn't disappear. Nothing odd.
Oh! I got it to work this morning! I had a few things to update, including Roosters. So I assume either the update helped whatever was going on, or one of the other mods I updated was the problem.
Seems to be fixed now and I managed to put a fertilized egg in the incubator! Thank you for the help!
OK fixing the Ani sprite missing.. Old stuff.. I tested this release for some strange reason my files got all jumbled up. It'll be fixed with 1.6.1. As for the overlap. What UI Mod are you using? I have only tested this mod with default.
Sorry for the incomplete information before. For the UI, I'm using DaisyNiko's Earthy Interface, and I have a bigger backpack from spacechase0. i think the bigger bacpack mod caused the incompatibility with the egg fert machine (?).
Originally they were suppose to just be away to bypass the luck/random hatching. I was planning on having them drop rarely when chickens are in the coop, as well, but i'm unsure at the moment if that's even possible.
Is there a way to either get them, or get rid of them from the mod? I need to get one of each of white/brown/blue/void/golden for the all shipped items achievement. I could cheat them in if necessary, but I'd rather only do that as a last resort. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the mod and update! I love it! Especially the new types and produce randomization. One little thing: the game refers to both roosters as 'Rooster'. In my addon, I changed their display names to 'White Rooster' and 'Brown Rooster'. I don't know if it's intentional, but I just wanted to let you know in case it isn't. Also, here's the Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR.json) translation:

Are the animations supposed to run in a similar way to the normal chickens? I assume they are but they don't. The mod picks walk cycle frames when the roosters are supposed to be sitting or sleeping, but the actual walk cycles themselves are fine. Haven't seen the pecking animation yet due to it being winter in my game but you might want to investigate those as well, just in case.
Yes, this is a slight bug, it will be fixed in the next version. The animations are there just the right frame isn't being called. :) Thank for letting me know!
Hello! I love this mod a lot~ Dropping a quick fyi, The newest update seems to be causing the lighting inside farmbuildings to flash and shift especially when you milk the cows. No smapi errors at all tho. I've reverted back to the previous version and its all working just fine again.
I just tested it threw a few days on my non-cheaty single player, and couldn't seem to recreate this issue. Could you please give me a list of your mods?

[Content Patcher] Patch error: (CP) Roosters! > Add egg Fertlizer Assets (assets/EggMachineAni) has a FromFile which matches non-existent file 'assets/EggMachineAni.png'.
