I have been looking for a vanilla-but-better reshade for a long time an I'm really enjoying this one. Thank you for making it!
  5. After I installed this Reshade my game never opened again

For some reason running this is causing significant drops in my frame rate. I am always able to run stardew at a locked 120 FPS but when I turn this on it drops to 40? I did as suggested and used the toggle key and I can watch the frames drop and then spike back up as I turn it on and off? Any idea what is causing this? I can't imagine just changing some color values should cause such a dramatic change.

I... 've never seen this such case, at least since 2010 when reshade was actually a bigger deal to run. Even if you had a pc that would have run Stardew @60fps for80% of its performances, a reshade cover wouldn't be a big harm for it. What's your config? Make sure you selected openGL during install and only selected the effect I pictured. If you did set all that well I can only think about a conflict issue (with somekind of gpu or screen hardware, everything related to display). Please tell me your PC component configuration, may be i could see if something is afoot

Is this compatible with 1.6? I think it looks really promising!

Of course it is ^^ the game version usually don't matter for reshade since it's a post process effect (computing after the program, meaning your game, has calculated everything to be sent to the gpu for display). As long as the game executable doesn't change in name and in 3D engine (which never happen) you won't ever have to reinstall reshade. All your parameters/configuration stays no matter the game updates, so it's pretty huge benefit for lazy effort to set it up.
