I have two keyboards & mouse sets plugged in, able to bring up two instances up, and now have them connected on the same farm, however the split screen menu will not appear when I press N, what am I doing wrong?
Nevermind figured it out! For anyone looking for the answer; you need to use the Universal Split Screen app in conjunction with this mod to separate input controls. https://universalsplitscreen.github.io/
Can we get it compiled for the new 1.5 update. I have dual monitors on pc and this mod is better than the split screen co-op they added in ver 1.5. It's SO zoomed out.
not sure how it works yet, but the author put this program in the description, sounds like it works just like this mod does? And it says its usable in Stardew Valley, the instructions are here?!
I know I'm a bit late on the ball but I've noticed others having this issue, my mouse scroll is disabled. I've tried to attach my mouse but my SMAPI goes red when I hit the button. https://smapi.io/log/4e2a9747f6e64153b392424c6b08cdf9 I cannot figure this out. It's playable, but I prefer to use my scroll wheel to change what I'm holding.
I have installed the mod and I can open 2 windowed versions of the game, they can connect I can see the other farm hand etc. So the mod is working in regards to creating a game. I cant however figure out the controls. I have 2 controllers connected I have mapped them in x360ce they all operate. But it appears I can only use one controller and it will only work on the game window thats active. I also cannot bring up a splitscreen menu by pressing N.
Am I missing something. Cant find anybody with the same issue. Please help. I am desperate to play this with my partner.
Played about and I have gotten this to work using the following method:
1: Download X360ce Latest Verison 2: Download Universal Splitscreen (1.2.0 at the time of writing this) 3: Open X360ce and map controller 1 & 2 you can do this easily by following tutorials if you have never used it before 4: Leave X360ce window open and then open the game shortcuts (Gamepad 1 & Gamepad 2) 5: Open Universal Splitscreen program and follow on screen prompts to alt-tab through each window applying a controller to each window. 6: Click Start Universal Splitcreen in the bottom right when ready. This will lock your mouse and keyboard and will allow you to use each controller individually with each screen. (You will need to CTRL-ALT-DEL to regain mouse control and close Universal Splitscreen when you are finished using)
This works flawlessly with Xbox and Xbox One Wired Controllers. Just so you know what versions I am on:

Im trying to play this through steam link with my controllers being linked to my TV. I've got the version made for 1.4.1 from bedbug1226. Do the controllers need to be attached to my computer for this to work?
