Seems like one or more of the files isn't loading. If you press F12 in your browser it should open the developer console. Can you send a picture of its contents? (The mod is still lacking in the error handling/reporting department.)
I've thought about machine translation, but don't know how I feel about it. While at the one hand it does help simplify and speed up the work, machine translations often contain errors, which aren't always easy to spot.
It currently only works for mods use SMAPI I18n API. I am want to add support for translating content packs, but I don't know anything about how they handle translations.
This is so impressive! I really like this, especially because I need an easy way to check for missing translation strings in my mods. It seems to work fine for content packs using the i18n system, however, it might be struggling with loading packs with a lot of strings, because two of my mods won't display anything when selected. A mod with 250 lines in the i18n can load fine, but 550 lines and it won't load. The mod in question is Cornucopia - More Crops and Cornucopia - More Flowers ^^

I'm glad to hear you find it useful. I'm not a translator myself so it is kind of hard to guess how to make this as useful for you as possible.
The problem you ran into is a bug in the translation file parser that caused it to fail on nested quotes (i.e. \"). As error handling is still mostly lacking, that caused the editor to break completely. There'll be a fix in the next release. It will also mark lines that fail to parse properly, by quoting them & coloring them in red. (I probably should also make the parse error visible for the user).
