Ever wanted to NOT be able to eat all of Stardew Valley's delicious food? Configure some allergies for your farmer for an extra challenge!

BarleyZP's Allergy Mod is a Stardew Valley mod which allows players to configure food allergies for an extra challenge. It is compatible with version 1.6+.
Content
This mod is compatible with Generic Mod Config Menu, or you can manually edit the config.json file.
Setting Your Allergies
You can access the allergy tab by opening your inventory in-game and switching to the new side tab on the "skills" page. You can either choose your allergies or roll some random ones to discover as you play!
Note: If you play with any custom skill mods, the allergy tab may not show up for you due to compatibility issues. You can instead open a standalone allergy menu (default keybind is L, but it's configurable) to set your allergies.
Gameplay
Once you've configured your allergies, make sure you avoid eating foods containing those allergens! You'll face a loss of energy and a pesky allergic reaction debuff if you try to eat those foods anyway. But never fear, Harvey's clinic has some medicine to help!
Allergy Medicine immediately relieves you of any symptoms of your allergic reaction. Take those Lactase Pills if you've got a dairy allergy and want some temporary freedom to eat cheese!
This mod includes other features to integrate it into the Stardew Valley gameplay such as letters in the mail and custom NPC dialogue if you talk to them while going through an allergic reaction.
Installation
- Install SMAPI
- Install this mod (it contains both a Content Patcher pack and C# portion, so make sure BOTH of those folders are extracted to right inside the Mods folder)
- Install Content Patcher
- Install SpaceCore
- Optionally, install Generic Mod Config Menu to easily configure the mod within the game
- Optionally, install Special Power Utilities for a powers tab for the custom skill books
- Launch Stardew Valley through SMAPI
- Configure some allergies and enjoy the challenge!
Custom Allergies and Mod Integrations
- As of v1.1.0, BarleyZP's Allergies contains a custom content pack framework. You can create custom allergies (grapes, mayo, whatever your heart desires!) Check out the source code linked below and the documentation for instructions!
- As of 1.2.1, BarleyZP's Allergies is now compatible with Cornucopia via content pack
- As of 1.3.0, compatible with Special Power Utilities
