To get the recipes to show up, I've found the bug (and fix) to get them working.
Note, you'll have to do this each time you startup the game for now. I've left a bug for the mod author to update with, if they're not responsive, I'll re-upload it myself.
To get the recipes showing up: Start game and open config menu. Enable the option. (or leave as is if already enabled) Click Save/"Save and Close".
That's it. The bug is that the recipes are only added if the game has had the config updated, it doesnt enable them being added if the value was already enabled on launch.
1. Wait until Sunday, or until you get the notification that this week's recipes are available for purchase at Pierre's store. 2. Open your SMAPI, type 'showrecipes' 3. You will be presented with a list of the available recipes to purchase. In the log, you will see, for example: [Buy Recipes] G4,800 - Pumpkin Darling Slice recipe 2 recipe 3 (etc...) 4. type: buyrecipe pumpkin darling slice 5. profit.
I think you can change the amount of recipes shown per week in the config.json, but I can't provide a concrete answer for now. But, this is how you use the mod.
Before claiming the mod is not working, wait until next Sunday - you should get a popup in the game like this:
...and check your SMAPI console. You should be able to see something like this:
Enter the command as in the description, e.g.:
There, you're done. :) Didn't check Pierre's yet, but the original method works just fine. I'm currently having 240+ mods run without any errors - in case you have SMAPI log with an error related to this mod, submit a bug report. As the author stated, it might not work with some modded recipes in case they are not properly defined, but that's something to report to the recipes mod's author, not here.
Yep, I have just wasted about half an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't working when it says it is compatible with 1.6, I finally checked the comments (I forgot this was an option) and now I am just hoping that they fix it :/
Does this allow buying recipes that you would normally obtain from other sources than queen of sauce? im missing gus' tropical curry but i cant for the life of me get him to the island resort to buy it from him. im trying to find mods that i can either get cooking/crafting recipes from a gui or buy it via commands and stuff. if possible i would also want to buy recipes that can be only be obtained normally in the mail by npcs. if this would be such a mod please let me know but im gonna download it anyway and try it so i might've already found my answer by the time you see this.
Of course, this mod was originally used to buy recipes that TV queen missed,This mod can purchase all recipes in data/recipes as long as the mod author puts a custom recipe into this file (no conditions required).
