It looks nice, although from my testing it doesn't seem to move at all, neither it returns back to its barn at 5pm. It makes a few steps & then stays still at the same spot the whole time. In order to be back in the barn, i have to wait until 6:30pm, enter the barn (or another building), go outside again (it won't be at its previous spot) & enter the barn again (it will be inside). No problem with the dumpling though.
Hey, thank you for this! Please try the updated file to see if its fixed. there was hardcoded animal behavior that I JUST NOW learned how to fix. I would appreciate if you could provide feedback on whether this fixed the issue! :)
Tested the new version for 3 in-game days, all looks fine, the kelple moves around the barn, goes outside & moves around, & returns back in the barn at 5:00pm. Great job, tnx for the fix!
Hello, I downloaded the kelple as coop animal file but I'm not seeing the kelple leaving the coop. It's like the animal is glitching just inside the coop door. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
Hello and thank you so much for this set if mods! I love them all so much 😭 I wanted to ask, how can you learn the recipe for the dumplings? Its the only one I need left to finally cook all of the recipes! Selling the dumplings as picked up unfortunately doesn't seem to do it ;w;
thanks so much for making the core keeper barn animals mods, theyre super cute i love them so much! I just have a small issue with the shadows underneath them (i'm using all 4 of your uploads of them)
the shadows are a bit offset on the y axis a bit too much, showing them a bit too far from the sprite compared to other animals/people. not an error just a cosmetic request to maybe align the shadows a bit better under the sprites?
heya, these are not my shadows, they're unfortunately done by the game itself.. it really bothers me as well lol (if you look at the screenshots on this mod, the dinosaur and duck have the same issue)
These seem great, but it appears that living in the coop, while being sized as a barn animal, they don't seem able to fit out the door and get stuck. I had to change the content file to have them live in the Barn for them to be able to roam around outside.
These are so cute! I feel like they should drop Seaweed or algae, and the Kelp dumplings should be a really rare drop :P Just because their shells are covered in seaweed xD
that's actually a good idea! I might make it like it is for ducks: normally drop eggs, but sometimes drop duck feathers :)) just with seaweed + the dumplings

[game] Farm animal 'Kelple' has sprite height 160px, but expected at least 192px based on its data. This may cause issues like frozen animations.
I haven't seen anything myself yet, but noticed the smapi log so figured I'd let you know :)

Good news tho! I didn't need it for the Cook All Recipes achievement but my completionist brain keeps seeing it grayed out every time 😅
