Figured I should post here since it's about this mod! Ok! So, I was kinda wrong? The Assets folder appears the same (but maybe that didn't need to change) however the content file does indeed look very different and Content Patcher/Spacecore format. However, the manifest file is the same...does that need to change at all? EDIT: Mod loads fine allegedly after changing "Format" to be 1.25.0 for my legacy stardew (had to change the folder name to have [CP] in front since it's technically a content patcher pack still?) however the animations nor the images show up...not sure what I'm doing wrong...sorry to need so much help. Any chance you could find a way to get CPA Mods to convert to SpaceCore or even DGA ones? Animations on tools from CPA mods stopped working years ago after a CPA update but I'd love to get this mod working. even better if the converter couldd work for legacy stardew 1.5.6 as that's what I'm on.
Hi I’m actually trying to convert this mod called Crowley’s Arcane Tools to DGA or another format that makes the tool animations work again. A CPA (and subsequent CP and SMAPI) updates made only tool animation mods not work. I was trying to explain to Puffeeydii more about a particular mod, Crowley’s Arcane Tools, that I’d wanted help with converting. I hope you’re able to help Puffeeydii with that Arcade Toos mod. You’ve done all you can asking them to upload a log! Thanks for your hard work on such a good converter I can’t imagine making it was easy. Sometimes it’s hard to know who to respond to in a comment thread since replies aren’t really specific to a particular commenter in a thread. Plus Nexus is dumb and doesn’t give you email notifications for things…I didn’t mean anything malicious!
While poking Github the other day I noticed a WIP (https://github.com/scriptsforweirdos/StardewJA2ConPat) but in my brief testing it feels like it still had a ways to go, unsurprisingly. Hopefully it is maintained, even a starting point for those would be incredible.
As a heads up, I tried this on a couple of different old PPJA things (eemie's crops especially) and it DOES work, but there's some errors in the code. It's a pretty simple fix, you just need to go into the python script and add 'sapling' in front of the name field, then do the same for seeds. Or that worked for me anyway! I was able to convert several different packs this way, and they seem to work okay in game!
There's also a skirt converter that works on clothes tilesheets here.

github states it should be giving 2 folders a CP & a DGA & on my end it gives JUST a DGA.. its ok stardew forum had a bunch cf to cp converted I will use those for now till this is fixed...

However, I'm just curious if you know if anyone could make a converter for Custom Ore Nodes and Custom Resource Clumps to Item Extensions Framework? It's probably a long shot. I'm gonna start looking at the code myself today, I just miss some of my favorite mods that used those resources sooooo much. Completely changes the mines experience. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, but I understand if it's too complicated or no one's interested on making something that obscure. Hope you have a great day and thanks again regardless!
