Now I'm wondering which one is better for Polyamory Sweet, this mod or the unofficial update to this one... I'm currently running into an issue with the latter, as the ingame wizard won't show me all spouses. (I can click 'next' for another page, but I would need three pages and it seems that was never intended... heh, got greedy...)
As an addendum, since the mod description (and the provided images) aren't clear on that - how does it work, exactly? You build a spouse patio, sure, but how to you allocate which spouse goes where?
I've never had Polyamory Sweet Patios work in anything but plain SDV for minimal spouse rooms (2-3). So if you're going to marry more than that, you'll need another mod to help you accomplish it. As far as I know, you cannot allocate a spouse to go to which spot. It's always in order of who you marry. The most current spouse gets the game allocated spouse patio. It changes if you marry a new person. That's when you build a new patio so that the older spouse has a patio of their own.
Example: I married Abigail and she has the original spouse patio. Then I marry Elliott and he takes over the original spouse patio so I visit Robin and have her build a Spouse Patio for Abigail.
You can move the Spouse Patios after they are built just like other buildings.
How'd you get it to work? I'm just curious because I didn't see a conclusion on the bug report or in the comments here. Are all the patios working as intended?
So far so good. You kind of have to place them, wait for them to show up with whatever the spouse has in their patio (2 items or so), then move them as needed. I've currently got 7 spouses and all have their own patios with my current being Abigail who has the main generic spot. When I get ready to marry another, then I get a spouse spot built for Abigail because the new spouse will take her spouse patio.
Other than that, not sure but I demolished then rebuilt them about 3 times before it started working properly. The mod author just hasn't updated the bug reports, I guess. That's why I was letting them know it was working. I even use Seb's garage and it looks awesome! Now I'll have to get Shane's coop xD
My multiplayer group is using a modded farm (Zinnalyn's Large Meadow Farm) and the spouse outdoor area can be purchased from Robin fine, but it never actually changed to the appearance of the farmhand's spouse outdoor area, and was never used by the farmhand's spouse when we tried it.
Is there something specific we need to do to make it work with the modded farm map? I made a bug report that included the logs several weeks ago and haven't gotten a response, but that might be because I made the bug report private by mistake.
Me too!!! Any solution plz >< ----------------------------------------- I solved it! After deleting 20852 tree transplant(fix), it works! So I suppose they are incompatible, hope my experience is useful to u ^^
Added as bug report but was hoping someone had a similar incident and knew how to fix?
How do you specify which spouse goes where? I built two other spots for additional spouses but the 2nd and 3rd ones just stay as flagged off area. They don't change. I'm using IF2. The first spouse patio was the Wizard's then it put in Seb's garage but it switched back to the Wizards patio. I thought it would work when that happened even though it moved the Wizard to Seb but then it stopped. Right now I have one working spouse patio (the original).
Well now, it is stuck on Jasper, which makes sense since he was the most recent spouse but now I don't have a spot for Wizard or Sebby. And I'm about to marry another one :) So not sure how to proceed since the mod is not creating spouse spots for a particular spouse. Do I need to edit the config file or something?
