Hello. Firstly, I just want to say that I love this farm. It is beautiful and expansive without feeling super OP. Having patty fields/dedicated animal areas is really nice, and I love the layout, for the most part. I've only been using it for a few days and am already addicted to it.
However. I do have one issue i was wondering if you could help me with. I've recently completed the greenhouse for the first time using this map and moved it to the section of field below the house. I wanted to make the place where it was a part of my main crop section. But, after i moved the greenhouse, the tiles where it was were 'blocked'. i can place paths/scarecrows/etc where it was, but cannot till the soil, plant anything, or place another building (i tried a mill and a well because i thought if i couldn't plant there, they'd be nice).
Is there a setting or something I'm missing to remove the restriction on those tiles once the building is moved?
so in the description you say that removing the FTM folder from your mod's directory is fine, as long as we config the main FTM ourselves.
My question here is, if the config file from the main mod is identical to the on in your directory, is it fine to still delete yours and then the extra stuff yours adds will still function? or is there some part we'd need to keep?
im usually pretty good with this stuff i just need a bit of clarification haha
Ok, so I haven't messed with FTM in a minute, so I don't remember 100% for sure, but I *think* you might have to copy/paste the coordinates from my FTM file, and add them to the one that you're keeping. Does that make sense?
If you're still having trouble, let me know and I'll see what I can figure out. I can't guarantee when I'll look at it though, I've been on a coding break for a min. I plan to update stuff more in the spring.
so im looking through the files and coordinates arent there. unless its in one of the files that cant be opened with Notepad, which id need to redownload VS haha
Edited to add: are you in the southern hemisphere, or just literally gonna be nearly a year til updating stuff O.O
hello big guy, i can't speak english and i can only use translation tools, so forgive me for some grammar questions, let me briefly express what i mean, it was your module that makes me, a bad designer, happy when building my home, i can see that you leave some space in some places, but i don't know exactly which buildings they are for, as i attempt to move my house, in the original place, a few grids have become red and can not be placed, and many of the reserved grids in the east, if this is a bug that does not know if you can fix it, if you can't help me point out what the gaps are used to place. please forgive me for my poor ability to express me, and speak again to the module you made
Hi, I will look at this tonight! I know there are some spaces leftover from 1.5 in the spot you're talking about that prevent buildings being placed. I'll see if I can remove them for the 1.6 update.
I don't know if you can do this but with Stardew Valley Expanded the Wizard helps you get warp on your farm but with this farm it is in a wall it is works somewhat i can teleport to it and if i put my self in the wall i can uses it but i can uses it normally
Heyy, I just noticed this as well. I *think* it's a 1.6 thing. I'm working on another of my mod's atm, but once I've got that up I'm thinking I'll get back to this one. Watch this space!
You've included the Farm Type Manager mod in your zipped folders to be installed, it would probably be easier for you to just make it another required mod and not have to manage the inclusion of another mod yourself. (I only noticed you included FTM because I already have it installed while testing farms for my next playthrough, and my game had some bugs from trying to load two instances of the mod.)
I like the look of this farm, it's bigger but not over-complicated! :)
Is the issue that it hasn't updated location (the same place as your last image)? Or is it something else? Make sure you download the new file, if you haven't, it should be fixed in there (I've added a new image to the gallery showing it's updated location, and I'm able to read it in new saves!)
Even if you download the file and put it in the mods folder, Grandpa's letter will be in the same location as the first picture. The same goes for creating a new map.
Hey, I'm unable to replicate this on my end. Downloading the most recent file and starting a new farm has it in the correct location on my end. Thankfully, if it can't be fixed on your end, the letter being read or not doesn't break the game.
solve!! The reason is that when I put [Endwyr] Custom_Farm (same folder name) under the [Endwyr] Custom_Farm folder, it did not change. It was fixed by deleting the child [Endwyr] Custom_Farm and replacing it with the outermost files. Thank
For some reason the house is broken in my game, creating a duplicate in the original location. If you could make a file with the blank space since now the game allows you to move the house, apart from that, for some reason my partner's space is below https://i.imgur.com/uHLdf1w.jpg In the image I show the error
Hi... When I cut the grass (any kind, like the one show on the picture southern blockers) there is nothing left behind, but I do the same action on vanilla farm there is always at least some items.... is it as it should work? or a error? thanks in advance
Greetings, Sure, I am using the scythe to cut grass (occasionally grass can be cut using a scythe, sword, or dagger. If the player has a silo on their farm, each grass cut with a basic Scythe has a 50% chance of producing hay, while each cut with a Golden Scythe has a 75% chance.) but as I mentioned, nothing spawned even after clear all my farm
Thanks for getting back! I didn't change anything that touches those (hay, scythe, or silo), but I'll try to give it a look at some point this weekend and see what's going on with it.
Do you have Silo built (If you don't have one, then you won't get any hay), and do you have any other mods installed that affect hay or scythes or the silo?

P.S. Thank you for your time and the awesome map.
