I think I would like to make a Discord server for this mod so I could post about updates I'm working on and help anyone with any bugs or other things like events/gift-tastes/etc. But I rarely use Discord and don't really know how making a server works! So if anyone would be willing to help me out with that, let me know :)
hi, i just recently installed the mod and realized i can't talk to anybody? like i can see axolotls at the shops but none of them are interactable. is there something i need to do?
i can't talk to shop owners, i also don't see any NPC's at all, after i got the welcome scene they all just disappeared. no idea if they're in their houses or something
As long as you have the Shop Tile Framework mod, the shop owners should talk to you. As for the other NPCs, i tested it and they don't seem to talk on a rainy day for some reason? But they did talk to me on a sunny day so maybe it's weather related. I also have it so that most of them stay in their houses on rainy days.
i do have the shop tile framework, maybe its just a glitch or bug on my end. and as of now i can see the NPC's wandering around though i can talk to some of them but not all of them.
plan to delete shop tile framework dependency and just use content patch? because will be depreceated and stop being maintain, (I`m using him just because your mod e.e
It wont become "fully deprecated" unless a breaking change happens in a game patch or SMAPI update, however STF developer does say that everyone should 100% migrate over as it will not be maintained if it breaks again. It also seems to conflict with a few mods many people use and thus many people have to choose between this and those and that isnt a fun thing to have to worry about. Out of curiosity though, what things can content patcher not do that STF can atm? Pathos said that feedback is appreciated from developers and i believe they genuinely want to make things easier or 1.6 if im honest wouldn't have happened. So im asking for the sake of letting you know that pathos is open to feedback. Currently i believe they are on vacation but im sure when they come back they would be willing to add in any methods you believe content patcher is lacking! Regards! -Shadows
All of the shop owners within the village are not actual NPCs but have portraits and dialogue. As far as I'm aware, using content patcher you can't have a shop with a portrait and dialogue without there being an actual NPC running it. So that's kind of my main issue here ^^;
You can set shops to have no owners, meaning that as long as the tile is interactable, then the shop would open according to LOGO (who is porting raffadax) and pathos (who just returned from their vacation!) (edit for direct link to the documentation https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Shops)
Hi! The warp at the beach seems to not be showing up. The warp totem works fine tho. Could this be in conflict with other expansion mods? I think the possible conflicts could be SVE or Cape Stardew. Hoping you can check this out if you have the time. Thank you and I can't wait to play around with this mod!
I think no? I can't really remember if SVE changes the beach since I haven't played vanilla for a long time. lol. As for Cape Stardew, it adds a boat below the left pier that acts as a warp. It has an option to disable that part but still the Axolotl village warp doesn't show up.
Hi! So I can actually see and use the warp in the dock now. Was I just too excited and assumed the warp will be there automatically instead of waiting for at least 1 in-game day? lol. That or Cape Stardew had a few updates the past few days so it may have been fixed by it. Anyway, it's all working now. Thank you for the cool mod!
some events are not working properly my character gets stuck in the wall and in one of the shell houses you can not go completely into the house during the heart event the axolotl just walks off screen
