Hey everyone, as you probably could tell I was updating my mod like everyday. This was because I had some pretty little bugs that was affecting gameplay that had to be fixed quickly. However, now that my mods are more stable, I will be implementing a update schedule. This is so each update as more than just a few fixes.
From now on any update I post will be a week apart, unless it is game breaking. So say I post an update on Tuesday, I would post any bug fixes on the following Monday.
I'm hoping this makes things easier on both the players and myself. Thank you all for putting up with the constant updates before this though. I know it was annoying and a lot to deal with.
I don’t know if it’s something that I did or not but John completely disappeared. He is not even in my list of character that I know. Same for Pop. edit : rectification, I have no character appearing from this mod and the caravan disappeared too.
Already done. Deleted the whole mod, downloaded it again and reinstalled. Still nothing 😅 also I tried with the precedent version of the mod and it works. It’s only with the 1.35 that no one appears.
I love this mod but does anyone know how to unlock Bubba? Also, Since Jinx is now giftable does she have heart events? And if so, are they going to be added to the guide site?
Also, I have an animal suggestion for the tropical hutch, the Quagga! They were kinda like a zebra and went extinct 200 years ago! Half of the animals in the Tropical hutch are extinct so i think it would be a good fit! They could produce milk which would make a good item to be put in the Cheese Press! It's just a suggestion tho.
My player character is female yet after marrying John the option was to adopt a baby? Is this intentional/ did i miss a part of his story that means he would rather adopt / is unable to father children?
He seems to be missing text for when there are children in the house, sorry don't have a screenshot right now, but it was giving an error message about missing text.
Fixing the text would definitely be good but i don't know if the adoption needs "fixing" If you can change and want to that would be fine, but actually I found it a different game play thought adopting than having via the female character giving birth, would just be nice if it came up in conversation (maybe in a heart scene at Harvey's clinic a week or so after getting married? or at 9 hearts?) that it would be happening but could be a conscious part of choosing who to marry and acknowledges that not all opposite sex couples have children the same way.
So this isn't really much of an issue, more of a funny thing that I thought might be fixable. I just saw the dance of the moonlight jellies and John was very prominently in the center, his greenfaced animation on the deck never stopped. It looked a bit comical to have that happen at the otherwise serene event and I was wondering if it might be possibly better to have his animation suspend once the jellies come in, otherwise it looks like he's doing a sick (lol) dance :D
I got the mail for receiving the Hot Cereal and noticed it wasn't attributed anyone, so I didn't know who it was from. After looking into it a bit, seems like it's supposed to be John? Looked a bit further in and seems most of your mail have a "-[name]" sign off but both Frosted Cake and Hot Cereal don't.
If I may give some feedback on a sensible topic, I've come across a line of Barron's where she talks about topics that are not Body Neutral \ Eating Disorder Survivor safe.

When she says she's trying to lose weight and even mentions a number of pounds gained
. If I had to talk to you with my heart, I'd ask you to utterly remove that and any mention to diet culture and fat negativity, as they are harmful topics and are not even TW'd (to help you understand my perspective as an eating disorder survivor, this is akin to homophobic or transphobic topics). I do respect your creative freedom though and I don't want to impose on you. It would really be ideal (for example) if I could check a box in the GMCM to remove these unsafe topics from the narration.

Hey there, as someone who has dealt with having a ED for most of my life. I do understand your discomfort and desire for the negative body talk to be removed. Usually I would not remove content like this, as my mod page has a warning about some topics being pretty heavy. But, this issue hits close to home for me and honestly Barron is a way I was venting out my frustrations. Doing so had me forget that her speaking that way could trigger someone else with the same issues as me.
I will be removing the weight related narrative and instead I will replace it with something less heavy. This will take a bit of time, as its a lot of content to read through to find these comments. If you ever find someone that triggers your ED, I would actually really appreciate you coming to me with the direct line of dialogue. I must warn you though, a recent even I had written I had barron delve into her struggles being the biggest kid in the foster home? This wasn't directed towards her weight presay, it is more, she is older and the biggest kid? But I will revise this event as well. I just wanted to warn you a head of time in case you come across it.
