- Uses the new 1.6 feature to add new pet breeds, rather than replacing vanilla sprites!
- Provides 342 skins to choose from! There are color variations for the following breeds:
- Alaskan Malamute
- Australian Shepherd
- Beagle
- Beauceron
- Bernese Mt Dog
- Border Collie
- Boston Terrier
- Boxer
- Bull Terrier
        - Chow Chow
- Cocker Spaniel
- Corgi
- Dachshund
- Dalmatian
- Doberman Pinscher
- English Bulldog
- Foxhound
- French Bulldog
- German Shepherd
- Golden Retriever
- Great Dane
- Great Pyrenees
- Italian Greyhound
        - Keeshond
- King Charles Spaniel

1. Install the latest version of SMAPI.
2. Install the latest version of Content Patcher.
3. Extract into your \Stardew Valley\Mods\ folder.
4. Run the game through SMAPI to generate a config.json, then close.
5. Open the config.json with a program like Notepad and use the images in the References folder to add the "Dog Breeds" you want. Multiple skins are allowed, separated by commas. If you can't get a config.json to generate, you can rename the example_config.json to config.json and use it instead. The alloptions_config.json can also be renamed to config.json if you'd like every skin available (but be warned, it's a lot!).
6. Run the game using SMAPI to play with your new dogs!

Note: Unlike my older pet mods, this no longer replaces the vanilla pet sprites. However, the process of changing your existing pets' appearance
has changed in 1.6. Spoilers on this process below:

The mechanic of changing your pet's appearance at the Wizard's Shrine of Illusion was removed in Stardew Valley 1.6. If you don't start a new save with the pet breed you want, you have to adopt a new one with the appearance you want from Marnie. Once you've maxed hearts with your existing pet, you can adopt additional pets if you buy the new pet bowl structures from Robin, or you can buy the Butterfly Powder item from Krobus to remove your pet and adopt a new one.


If you only have the first pet you chose in character creation, its appearance can be changed by using the command debug cmenu in the SMAPI console.

Warning for co-op players: Due to the nature of the new breeds feature, players in co-op should all have this mod installed, with the same breeds enabled, to prevent skin errors or possible crashes. I will add a default replacement version at a later date!

This mod is compatible with Alternative Textures! If you have AT, you can buy the scissors from Robin and use them on your pets without an AT pack. AT will pull from the breeds you have enabled.
