I used some of the things that were added to NPC's in 1.6, and fixed more spelling and grammar issues.
- He cannot show up on Ginger Island.
- Penny is his friend (not sure what that does exactly)
- Added more reactions to the movie theater, bouquet etc.
- Fixed one issue with the table in his room, but he still has no door :(
About the character:
- Isaiah is a museum worker/librarian who moved into town couple years before you. He is passionate about history and in his free time listens to metal music to wind down.
- He is very akward at the begining, although he warms up to the player over the course of his heart events.
- Isaiah has a lot of dialouge about the history and lore of the Valley. Most of it is revealed if he is gifted an artifact. He has a unique response for all artifacts. (Except the Dwarf Scrolls, which share the same one, and the Island Field Office ones, since they're not technically artifacts.) He will refuse them as a gift and tell you a couple lines about them.
- He has one delivery quest at 3 hearts, but the letter will only show up two days after reaching enough FP.
- His story and dialouge are pretty light hearted to fit in with the game's theme.
- 2 heart- Enter the library between 8:00 and 16:00.
- 4 heart- Enter the mines between 18:00 and 24:00. Must have seen the 2 heart event.
- 6 heart- Enter the library between 8:00 and 16:00. Must have seen the 4 heart event.
- 6 heart Isaiah, 4 heart Penny- Enter the library between 9 and 11 on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
- 8 heart- Enter the library between 8:00 and 16:00. Must have seen the normal 6 heart event.
- 10 heart- Enter the mountains between 20:00 and 24:00, after receving a letter (which will show up 2 days after reaching 10 hearts). Must have seen the 8 heart event.
- 13 heart- Enter the railroad between 18:00 and 24:00, on a rainy day.
- 14 heart- Exit the farmhouse between 6:10 and 24:00. Must have seen the 13 heart event.
Gift Tastes:
- Loved: fried mushroom, sunflower, green tea, roasted hazelnut, morel, parsnip soup, chanterelle,
- Liked: honey, quartz, tea leaves, red mushroom, common mushroom, purple mushroom,
- Disliked: mango, coffee, triple shot espresso, all milk, all eggs,
- Hate: caviar, aged roe, all fish, all fish recipies,
Things to fix or add in the future/other warnings:
- He still has no door to his bedroom, I give up.
- I will not be adding him to the desert festival.
- I do not intend to support the SVE version since I don't play it normally.
- You can walk through walls in his room. (SVE version only)
- Shelves not interactable in his spouse room, and his room in the library. (SVE version only)
Possible mod conflicts:
- Will conflict with any other mod that changes the layout of the library.
- Might conflict with other custom NPC.
- There is one dialouge line for Penny in this Content Pack, so a mod that changes Penny's dialouge might override it. It's not a huge issue though, since it's not very important.
Other info:
- Sorry if there are going to be gramatical and spelling errors, I'm not an native english speaker and the dialouge was kind of a challange to write. I think I fixed them but there are probably more errors left over.
