There has been a lot of issues with the axolotl tails and the event where you bring the tails to Kin that I believe has started after the multiple JSON Assets updates that came after Stardew 1.6. I've been a bit too busy to look into it, so for now if you're unable to see that particular event, I would recommend putting debug ebi 98880052 into your Smapi to force the event. Sorry about the troubles!
Even though I have all the tails I can't activate the event in the secret woods, does anyone know how to help me please? I think the mod is really cute and I really want it to work

Another user, xNytax, posted a comment here that tells you what to change and in what files to make it compatible with sve and it still works for me. Changes Kin’s position and lets me see the events without needing noclip.
I just finished his 10 Heart event and the sprite for the wizard wasn't there and the farmer was out of bounds. It could just be one of my other mods being weird but I thought I'd let you know. I adore this mod and I'm definitely gonna download the village now!
I looked into it a bit, and I think this issue might be because of Json assets? So I'll probably just convert the tails to content patcher instead and that will probably allow you to trigger the event.
SMAPI kept telling me that a certain part of this mod couldn't be loaded because I lacked a certain mod that I never knew I needed. The mod being Farm Type Manager (FTM), which I didn't know was needed until I decided to look into why it never loaded.
just for the record: you player, before downloading this mod, know that it does not work with any known expansion, neither with SVE nor with Ridgedside
I'm just wondering if you are going to add SVE compatibility at some time. This NPC looks fun. I wanted to go through their story and then add Axoloti Village.
So I just reinstalled him and he is compatible with SVE technically. He and his tails show up you just need NoClip to get to him, haven't been able to trigger any events though, though that seems to be an issue for me even my non SVE save
