Ahh I do apologise. This was mentioned in the original description but I must have accidentally left it out when I remade the pages for all the mods a little while ago. I'll add this note back in now so thank you for letting me know.
The Deserted Island map comes with a smaller version of the farm cave included so if you want to use the full legacy farm cave instead with it just make sure to remove the farm cave folders that come with this one first or it will over write it, as it will be trying to load two different maps for the same cave and so not load either. Just take put whichever you don't want to use at the time:)

The farm map doesn't change or effect anything else in game or in town so it won't prevent you from finding things available in 1.6 throughout the town and rest of the game. Its just a farm map. Bit all that other stuff is rng so it's just luck when you come across them :)
This is a really cool map and I love it so much I made a new game just to play it! I would like to suggest maybe a way to hide the curved coconut trees growing from walls, at least the ones that are obscuring the ground it is hard to see what is behind them
That's awesome I'm glad you are enjoying it so much! Unfortunately because of the placement with other tiles they have to be front like that but if they become too annoying it might be better to just remove them so let me know how you get on :)
Heyo! I wanted to ask if this replaces the default map or the island map (Vanilla), because I am using SVE Grandpa Farm and I wanted to use this for the Island farm if possible! :)
Hi there! Yes, it replaces the beach farm (isand farm) right now, so you can easily have both installed in your mods folder and not have to remove any before you play. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi there. I love your mods. I've been using legacy farm and i wanted to try this one. Do you have a file for 1.5 still and if so which one is it? I'm not very good with mods but I have a separate saved 1.5 access for my modded game and my 1.6 is vanilla.

hi there! im loving this map , its a lot of fun. however i was wondering if you still get the crates that wash up like in the regular beach farm? so far i havent seen anything other than the foragables. also the personal quarry in the mines isnt working for me, is it unlocked later through mining level? im lv 3 on my challenge and not even rocks are showing up in there
Hi there! Yes crates will wash up on the shore now and then, it isn't always a common thing I'm afraid. However I'm wondering why you're having the issue with the Cave not spawning things for you. Did you make sure to I crude both folders in your mods? The CP and FTM folder? If so do you have any errors on smapi so I can take a look at it for you
actually i have 2 cp and 2 ftm folders inside the base mod (all labeled differently) was i supposed to remove some so i only had 1 of each? i have [CP] Deserted Island Farm [CP] Deserted Island Farm Cave [FTM] Deserted Island Farm Cave Forage [FTM] Deserted Island Farm Forage
update, i fixed it!!! found the issue, although i deleted the original non-challenge version of the map before downloading the challenge one, the ftm file somehow remained somewhere else and was double loading. fixed it by searching through the search bar to find it and deleting it, as well a re downloading the map just to be safe. that means i also got the chest that i didnt have before lol.
You definitely needed all four yes, but I see you found the issue with still having one of the older folders so I'm really glad it's all sorted for you now and working as intended! I'm so glad ð
As for the list of recommended mods, yeah it's a shame quite a few are no longer working in the latest update now so ill have to find some time and go through and update the list as soon as I can. Thank you for letting me know and I hope you have fun with the map!
Hi, I've just taken a break from my Meadowlands Perfection farm to have a go at your Deserted Island Challenge farm, but I can't find it on my load screen :( SMAPI says it's installed, but I've just tried all the farm layouts and I can't find it. Has your farm replaced one of the defaults or should I see it as an additional option (like the Small Beach Farm and Enchanted Grove Farm)?
Hi there! Yes it replaces the beach farm in game, I haven't got around to making it a custom loading one yet. So just select the beach farm and you'll find it there. If you have any other farms installed that replace default farms, make sure to temporaily take them out of your folder first or it might get over ridden. I hope you enjoy it!

EDIT: After some experimenting I found that, at least in my case, it wasn't another farm, it was the 'Better Beach Farm' mod which edits the Beach Farm map. That must have been overriding your map. Solved! Now I can go play my Castaway playthrough with your lovely map \o/
Love the map but i cant get it to load. SMAPI keeps throwing an error related to the order of the tilesheets.

Im also getting errors about empty varriables resulting in no valid spawn tiles. this may be because content patcher blocked the map from loading, but i figured the information couldnt hurt.

Oh no I must have accidentally messed something when updating. I'll check this and fix ASAP. (The tilesheet order)
As for the second one, that's nothing to worry about at all. It's just letting you know that spawn rates haven't been set for monsters and that's intentional because I didn't create the Cave or extra areas to have them. But if you selected to have them on your farm at night that's unaffected. :)
