About this mod

A makeover for Elliot's sprites and portraits, for anyone who is tired of him looking like a nineteenth century Christmas Elf.

Permissions and credits
In my opinion, a necessary revision of Elliot's attire: Less jingle bells, and more "I live in a shack by the beach". Take it down a notch, Fabio.

Yeah, he kind of looks like he sells paper towels on the side; but who says that's a bad thing?  I also, as you can see, changed his "shocked" portrait to include something a little different. The idea of making all his portraits front-facing was a little daunting for my first attempt at modding, so I decided to come up with a reason for why he always appears in profile instead. I thought, "Maybe he's not weird and elitist. Maybe he's hiding something..." This mod doesn't affect anything but the portraits/sprites, so I encourage the player to come up with their own intriguing backstory for how the scar came to be.

The "shocked" portrait is the only front-facing one... For now.

I also changed his Spring Dance, and Wedding sprites, because no one should wear a powder blue tuxedo un-ironically, and I wouldn't marry someone in a green cravat.

I haven't noticed any glitches or cut-off limbs in my game play; everything should be perfectly in place.

Be easy on me; this is the very first mod I've ever shared. More importantly, I hope ya'll enjoy the new Elliot. :)

2-8-22 I should've said this a looooonnnnng time ago, but for anyone who wants to update and/or edit, and share Elliot Revised, or Harvey Revised, please feel free to. That goes for sharing here on Nexusmods or anywhere else; You're very welcome to share your editions wherever you like. You can share a link to your editions here, if you want to (and of course you're not obligated to, if you'd rather not). Credit if you want to. Don't credit if you'd rather not. I'll see what I can do (hopefully) in the coming days to make them on par with the current game, but then I think the only sane thing to do with my track record is let them go to the community.
If I don't respond to your questions, I can absolutely promise it's not because I'm intentionally ignoring you. I just take scatterbrained to the nth dimension, by not checking in more than every half a decade. On that note, be aware that it's entirely possible I may respond to something asked in 2022, in 2026. (It'll start with an apology for taking four years to reply.)
