About this mod
This mod replaces the meowing of the cat and the barking of the dog with the rooster crow that is heard at the start of a new day.
- Permissions and credits
This works as of version 1.2.33 of Stardew Valley. It replaces meows and barks with a rooster crowing when you pet your pet. I made it to use with a mod that turns your pet into a rooster, but feel free to use it however you wish. I can't do anything about Marnie calling your pet a cat/dog when you first receive it, however.
How to install:
1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Content\XACT and make a backup copy of Wave Bank.xwb. Save this elsewhere on the computer in case you run into an issue with the mod or decide you want the original pet sounds back.
2. Unzip the new Wave Bank.xwb into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Content\XACT, telling it to overwrite the previous file.
3. Next time you play, petting your pet should sound like a rooster crowing.
