Would you be inclined to make an AT rainbow chicken mod? been looking for one... specifically, a separate chicken of every color, not just one colorful chicken, so the 'blue' chicken can still be locked to Shane's friendship progression, to make befriending him for the last one to complete having all the ROYGBIV colors... personally I just wanna name them after Monster Hunter Birb Wyverns for the lols, but I'm pretty sure other people would appreciate such a mod, makes deciding to have 8 chickens more rewarding. ty for taking the time to read this.

I'm here from time to time. The way .xnb files work is it just replaces the base image with the new one. Unfortunately, there's no code to make it random.
These are great, thank you! Addtional colors you could try if you want are white speckled, brown speckled, yellow, red, and red head with green body. If you're feeling fiesty, how about an easter one where the chickens come out in pastel colors?
These are recolor replacements, not add-ons. You are replacing one file directly with another in order to replace the visual design. You can replace the Default chicken with a Grey chicken, but if you continue by trying to install a DarkGrey chicken, the Default has already been replaced, so you are actually replacing the Grey with DarkGrey. This is just an example, the basic principle is that you can only use one color at a time per normal chicken type. You can replace the brown or white chickens or you can replace them both, but you can't add additional types.
