any chance you would consider making one of your glass obelisks for Ridgeside? I love them so much (though your gardens are my second favorite obelisk texture so you have my favorite and my second favorite lol)
These are so cute, and I'd love to place them on my farm, but I have another mod that changes my buildings. Is it possible to use your house and building customizer just to get the obelisks, or could you possibly create a mod with just the obelisks as an option? Also, how do I select the garden option for the ES obelisk, as mentioned in the below comment? Is it something I need to do in the config file, or will I get the option when I get the obelisk in game?
They're part of this building pack! https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/196 It's Content Patcher-based, but each building can be individually turned on or off in the config (very easy if you use Generic Mod Config Menu). Enjoy!
Hi! CP is a Content Patcher pack, while AT is an Alternative Texture pack.
In this case, you probably want the Content Patcher version. As long as you also have Content Patcher installed, it will work automatically to change the Ridgeside Obelisk to match the one in the picture. Content Patcher is the basis for A LOT of mods, so if you don't have it already, you'll want to download it and put it in your mods folder. :)
Once you have been playing for awhile and are more comfortable with mods, you can look up how Alternative Textures works. AT lets you change the way things look in-game, but requires more user interaction than CP. AT also has certain settings turned on by default that can be confusing, so I don't recommend installing it unless you know how to use Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM) or edit config files directly.
AT is a great mod! I do recommend it. :) Instead of deleting them, maybe put them in a separate folder outside your mods folder, so when you feel ready to use AT you can. Using AT isn't hard, but if you're just starting out with mods, it's probably best to wait until you get the hang of them before adding it.
I *do* recommend installing the Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM) and learning how to use it. It will let you change the settings on lots of mods in-game. Once you learn how to use that, changing the settings on AT will be easy. Let me know if you have any questions.
This is so cute! I saw the big mod with the other obelisks that match, but I use mostly AT mods so I can mix and match :( wish I could get those obelisks only! They're my favorite that I've seen. Great work!
Sure! The Vanilla ones (Mountains, Desert, Beach, and Island) are available with Lumisteria's buildings (a really fantastic set that I personally love a lot!) https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/196 This is a Content Patcher only set, with a TON of customization options available through the config file (highly recommend GMCM for all the config options). This style of obelisk is the "garden" style.
The other one with the little town on it is for East Scarp, and is included by default with ES. If you look in the configs for East Scarp (not East Scarp NPCs but the main East Scarp config file) and choose the 'garden' option for the obelisk, it will match with the rest of this set.
