I came to offer the CP version I made to Hisame in case she wanted to post it, but I see someone already has! Well, anyway, if you'd like a Content Patcher or an Alternative Texture version, Hisame, let me know. I'm happy to give either or both to you to distribute. :)
Since Hisame didn't update the broken mod, and I really love these trees, I made it myself and I'm sharing it with anyone who missed the mod just like I did. ❤ This is also a content patcher conversion, so you don't need to replace game files. If you already have content pacher installed, just unzip the rar file in the mods folder.
I love this mod but it stopped working in the last game updates. I hope that one day it will be updated to a content patcher version. Or that I just get the sprites to do it myself.
Hi, would you be able to update this to work with the CP format and Stardrop mod manager? Most of your other mods already have, but this one seems to have been missed, which is a shame because I love the concept!
It looks like the mod either broke badly in 1.3 or there's just a problem with my setup running it... when I run the content patcher version, SMAPI says it crashed and uses default textures instead. When I just use the xnb version, it "works" but lags the game a ton, to less than 1fps. So definitely not your fault, but any idea what the issue may be?
>[ContentPatcher] Mod crashed when loading asset 'Data/fruitTrees'. SMAPI will use the default asset instead. Error details: StardewModdingAPI.Framework.Exceptions.SContentLoadException: Karmylla's Cellar Edits for ContentPatcher failed loading content asset 'assets/fruitTrees.png' from ModFolder. ---> Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Content.ContentLoadException: The directory was not found. ---> System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "[...]/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/Mods/[CP] Blooming Trees/SMAPI/hisameartwork.blooming/assets/fruitTrees.png.xnb".
Could it be because the mod itself doesn't include a /hisameartwork.blooming/ folder, and goes straight to assets and .png files rather than .png.xnb?
Hi ! Nice job :) I don't know if it was a mistake in the instructions or if I did it wrong but the files wouldn't work in "TileSheets" since there is no tree pattern in there, only in "TerrainFeatures" (and it worked after I replaced them in the second folder). Verdict ? :p
I just downloaded this mod today and can confirm that the Read Me txt file still shows the incorrect file locations. The locations that Theflyinghipy replied with are correct.
YAS! If you do here are the mods I used: https://hisameartwork.wordpress.com/gallery/stardew-valley-mods/ don't forget to endorse the modders you like. ^_^

Thanks for doing this!

both mods should just be looking in ( *modname*/assets/image.png )
Can you try re-downloading them both? Delete whatever versions you have now
Spring Trees: Stardew/Content/TerrainFeatures
Fruit Trees: Stardew/Content/TileSheets
