is there a way to make it so the drone flying in front of you doesn't stop you from using tools? like i'll be in the middle of doing something like chopping down a tree but i can't swing anymore if the drone is in front of me in its rotation (haven't tested it in the mines yet, just on the farm as its enabled by default on a new save and noticed this while clearing the farm). that isn't increase the rotation radius, as i use the navi retexture and i like how close by it is by default!
I think I'm losing my mind here but I can't for the life of me get the damn thing to slow down. The speed that it is flying around me is giving me motion sickness. :( I've tried setting the speed to 1, 10, 100, and even 300 but there was almost no speed change.
That is a pretty weird bug. I just tried hanging out in the mines from 5PM onward and it never stopping killing everything. Where are you when it stops? Next time it happens can you upload you log to https://smapi.io/log and send me the link, so I can check for any errors.
I saw some comments saying that the drone only gave -1 damage, but in the Mod description the author put the file name "config.json", I opened the mod folder, inside there is a "config.json" file in it you can change the damage. I tested with a negative number and it only pushed the creatures away, so I tested with a positive number and the damage was assigned.
the damage config setting doesn't do anything, I set it super high because -1 was doing like 1% of the monsters health and 10k, 1k, and 100 all also do 1%
installed it. the drone spins extremely fast in 1.6, it disappeared when i entered a new map. i cant seem to toggle it on and off, and my game froze in the mines when i hit one slime with a sword. I can be patient. i know 1.6 just came out today.
I have uploaded the new 1.6 version. The rotation speed and diameter are configurable via GMCM. Please let me know, one way or the other if this fixes your issue.
I am having it spin extremely fast, and the configuration is set to one. I also extended the diameter to 180 and it does not seem to have moved out word much. I will try a larger number tomorrow.
I did get in and try again. I was able to extend the diameter, but could not slow the spin down. The spin rate was set to 1, and was just as fast as the default.

Works fine. I assigned the activate button to my left-stick centre click and it all worked fine.
