Hello~I found that after installing this mod and playing with friends, the friend sprite in the character list will run through the entire table instead of the bust. I don't know what's going on.....T_T
Hiya! I think I've heard of a similar-ish issue in the past, but I'm pretty sure that isn't something that I could've caused with this mod. Does it happen to all NPCs? Off the top of my head, I've frankly no idea what the culprit might be. If you've got a Discord account, I'd recommend joining the official Stardew server and making a post in its modded tech support channel. The volunteers in there tend to be a fair bit better at troubleshooting than I am. In any case, whether you want to take it to Discord or want me to take a look, whoever's going to help will need a log in order to see what the problem might be. Just upload it on that site and share the link.
Thank you, I really love this mod! Unfortunately, I have an issue on android where the saves screen and the inventory/skills/relationships screens are not getting recolored (the tabs on top are recolored, but not the screens themselves :c).
here is my log, would be very grateful if you could help me with this issue! https://smapi.io/log/54ab7db957424339b15402fea27aacca
UPD: added another frame to the asset file, now it works :D i.imgur.com/nkam0Aw.png
The problem with Android compat is that 1) I have no idea how stable Android modding is these days, 2) that I don't have an Android phone and consequently don't have access to its specific files (both new ones and those that may have been updated in 1.6) and 3) I similarly can't test any changes I do make. As such, Android compat is currently pretty low on my priority list – sorry!
That being said, it's great to hear you managed to solve the problem yourself! I'm pretty sure that file's one of those that were updated as part of the 1.6 update. If you don't mind, I might use your pic as a reference and release a tiny update to include that frame. I'll wait at least until the weekend, so if you find anything else that looks off in the meantime, please let me know!
I saw you're working on an update for the compatibility patches, just wanted to let you know about some missing icons for Deluxe Journal (if you didn't already know). Also, is it possible to add a recolor for the GMCM buttons?
Thanks for the heads-up! I just updated them in my local copy. No guarantees, but I think I should be able to release the official update this weekend. I've been sitting on it for far too long anyway...
Now, I could be missing it, but I can't seem to find the Better Crafting compatibility files? Also, just FYI, there are currently two separate compatibility folders. Not sure if that's intended or not!
Ha, compared to my usual pre-employment response times, two days is actually pretty slow. :D
You're not missing them! I removed them for a pretty simple reason – as long as its theme selection is set to "Automatic", Better Crafting seems to use the recolored vanilla assets that make up its icons automatically (unless my local copy is doing weird things... which I doubt. Then again, you never know!). I'd appreciate it if you could confirm or deny that so I can either sleep in peace or add them to the compat files again in case they're still needed.
Also, the two compat folders are intended! A few mods allow patching their assets using CP like regular vanilla sprites. These are the ones "hidden" in Assets/Compatibility files because they don't necessarily need to be found by the average user. The ones in Compatibility, in contrast, are the ones that need to be manually replaced by users. Splitting them up in different folders probably doesn't make too much sense for people that aren't me, but that's what I decided on, haha.
Oh, here I was thinking I was being smart. I went ahead and redownloaded the mods with "hidden" compatibility files and they did exactly as you said, which meant I did more work than I needed to.
I did notice was that while I'm in the main menu, if I open GMCM, my cursor goes behind the BACK button. It's still clickable and everything. That could be something on GMCM's end, though, or maybe my cursor replacer?
One more question: if I wanted to replace the logo on the main menu (I really like the Vanilla Accent Interface logo) how would I go about doing that while keeping the rest of your interface?
Hm... that's a weird issue. I've never heard of it before and I can't replicate it either. I doubt it's something that simple CP mods could cause, too... I'd either recommend trying the 50/50 method (splitting your mod list in two, testing with one half to see if the problem persists, testing the other half if it doesn't, splitting the half that causes the problem into another half and so on) or joining the Stardew Discord server and posting a SMAPI log in the modded game support channel. There are lots of volunteers who are better at troubleshooting than me in there, ha.
I don't feel comfortable editing the files myself, but you could easily make a personal edit. The title screen logo is part of the file TitleButtons in the Minigames folder. If you've got a program that's capable of editing images at a pixel scale (Paint would suffice, but I'd personally recommend the free pixel art program Libresprite), it's pretty easy. Just open up my TitleButtons file, delete the logo at the top and paste Vanilla Accent Interface's logo in there. Alternatively, if you'd prefer having the entirety of its title screen changes, you can just copy its TitleButtons.png and replace mine.
Thanks a lot for your nice words! I can look into it, sure. Just so we're on the same page, you mean that wood (bamboo?)-ish border with the fishing rod next to it, right? I'm pretty sure I remember actually recoloring it early on it before deciding I liked the original version better, ha. Edit: I sure hope you meant that minigame because I went and updated the mod with it. :D
Hi ! I quickly edited together your textures for compatibility with the Mana Bar mod. Can I upload it, or do you want me to give it to you so you can host it on this page?
Hi there! I've actually been procrastinating working on an update for some compat patches, but I honestly didn't think Mana Bar still worked. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! If you don't mind, I wouldn't complain if you sent me the file, but but I can also whip something up for whenever I actually get around to updating. Your call. :D
hi there, it looks like happy home designer got updated with some new sprites (i think?). compat updated would be awesome whenever u have the capacity for it :) thanks so much for your amazing work!!
I completely missed your comment, sorry! I've got another (tiny) update in the works that'll hopefully clean up the compat section a bit, but for now, uploaded an updated file for HHD in the optional files section. Thanks for your patience!
I've got pretty limited time these days and still no way of accessing mobile files or testing any changes myself. That alone is not a great combination of factors for this endeavor.
Mobile modding is still (or rather again) in its infancy and, judging from what I've heard so far, still very unstable. I'd rather wait till it's gotten more stable before committing to making specific compat files.
TYSM for the reply!!! Actually the mods that are unstable for now are the expansion mods that adds new mechanics, characters ,and some of the framework mods etc. and I can definitely say after playing for like 2 weeks that CP mods work perfectly fine and I play with like 26 mods installed 😆.

EDIT: I did find the GMCM buttons!

Would you also consider updating the colour for the fishing UI (the bar when catching a fish)? No problem if not!
