try_continue_event command doesn't work - Status: Untouched

Hi, I would like to do add compatibility with SVE on their custom map. However I am not sure if I am allowed to use it like that
Edit: I just checked their page on nexus and according to the permissions, I am allowed to use it as long as I credit them. I might do that in the next update :)
Hi, thanks for pointing that out. I have only finished one playthrough while making this mod and probably missed that. That's something that can be fixed in future updates though.
Hi, I love the concept of this mod, but would've been better if the bachelor and bachelorettes are NOT facing each other. Like they can scatter around just like the other festivals, or stay with their friends.
It just feels a bit weird seeing your girl/boyfriend or spouse facing someone else during a Love Festival.
I was under the impression that this is supposed to be for the farmer?

Unfortunately I did encounter a problem during my first experience of the festival. Everything went perfectly until it was time to receive my letters. Three NPC's delivered their letters before another NPC (looked to be the custom NPC Aspen) sprinted like Usain Bolt down the red carpet and phased through my body into the area behind me, disappearing off screen. No crash, music still present, but I couldn't move and the scene did not progress. I tried multiple times to use the 'try_continue_event' command, via SMAPI, and it didn't work; nothing happened. For now I am just going to skip the festival to avoid any issues. Not sure if I did something wrong, or if this is just an incompatibility, but any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
Hi, thanks for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were having troubles during the festival. It's always difficult to tell whats the exact reason, especially when the log doesn't show any error. I've sometimes faced the bug aswell but rarely. Unfortunately, I don't really know what triggers this. I'd suggest to try it again. You can either continue your playthrough or test it on a new save using debug commands (perhaps it was just a one time moment and the upcoming festivals will work flawless). I truly believe that some mod is causing issues though.
In case you want to test it using debug commands: 1. Create a new save 2. Enter "debug friendall" to get maximum friendship for each NPC (to increase the chance of them becoming letter gifters. WARNING: Using this command may give you the corresponding steam achievements) 3. Enter "debug festival winter6" to trigger the festival
Thank you for your quick reply! No need to apologize, these things feel impossibly unforeseen with how many variable mods each given person adds to their game. Hello, I'd like to add compatibility to my modded NPC, Gabriel, so he shows up in this festival, and I tried to do this as you usually would with content patcher, (adding a custom NPC to a festival) but I can't get him to show up in the festival, content patcher says the patch is applied, but he doesn't show up. I think the problem is because he has an underscore in his game-code name (whatever it's called) is there a work-around for this, that doesn't involve changing his non-display-name, or do I have to change it?
Hi, unfortunately, I haven't worked much with CP yet in order to help you. I know some basics but thats it.
As much as I know, the custom NPC Rodney was added to the festival using CP. I suggest you to look into the source code of it. Maybe that will help you out :)
Hey, just wanted to let you know I got it to work! the problem was, I was spelling the "Set-Up_additionalCharacters" part wrong, oops. corrected that and my NPC showed up just fine. thanks for taking the time to reply to me!
Hope I didn't miss this in description, but is the mod compatible with the polygamy mod? Or do you have any plans to add compatibility with the polygamy mod? I would love to check this out on my next playthrough! But, you know, I can't not play a poly player, lol.
Hi, sorry to disappoint you but there seems to be no much demand (according to downloads) for that feature. I keep the featurefor the people who actually enjoy but it I'd say I discontinued that feature. This means I probably won't include it in the main file, nor will I update it.
