Q: I have a problem of literally any kind! A1: I need a little more information than that. Consider posting your computer's specs, details about your operating system, other programs you are running simultaneously, etc. A2: Make sure you completely remove the files of any old preset, which is the 'reshade-shaders' directory as well as several files in the main Stardew Valley directory. Redownload the archive to figure out which.
Q: It kinda works but sometimes not, or it runs veeery slowly! A: Any program that adds 'overlays' (extra graphics, such as menus, performance meters or chat windows of different programs) may interfere. Steam's overlay should always be disabled.
Q: It ran the first time, but now it won't run at all! A: An instance of ENBInjector only counts for that instance of Stardew Valley. So if you close the game and restart it five minutes later, you also need to close ENBInjector and restart it. It can be closed from the desktop, or the little icon in the lower corner of your screen if you minimized it.
Q: Can run this on any operating system other than Windows? A: I'm inclined to say no, but I'm not really sure. Check out if there's any Windows emulation software for it, such as WINE for Linux. You might have to run a Windows version of Stardew Valley through that on your OS to make that work though. I don't think that will work with OS-native versions of the game.
Q: I spend many hours getting this really simple thing to work and I still don't get why it won't! A: Trusting that you have really exhausted all options, likely something within the operating system is interfering with DLL injection into Stardew Valley's process. I recently found that holdover files from older Windows installations were a majority cause behind a lot of these complaints for Natural Color - Reshade. So if you ran Windows 7 or 8 once, then used the 'upgrade' feature to install Windows 10, you may be screwed. Fear not, there is a solution. I wrote a guide here on what's behind this and what to do about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/comments/7pehe4/update_i_figured_out_why_natural_color_reshade_or/

Making good progress on the Gameboy preset. It's coming together pretty nicely, altough I had to reduce the available colours (I should say greens) to 6 instead of the gameboy's original 4. Due to SDV's sprites never having been designed to support so few colours, I don't think'll be able to get it lower than that.
Also not quite sure if I should go for the particularly green first Gameboy, or the less-green-more-monochrome ones that came after. I might settle for something inbetween.
Will require a ton of tweaking to get the balance just right for all seasons / times / weather types, so I'll publish a beta around the first of the next month.
As of the multiplayer update, the SV executable will no longer comply with ENB Injector's openGL DLL hook. I'm no specialist, but I'm guessing this is a measure against non-specific but relatively simple multiplayer hacks. I don't actively keep up with the development of ENB anymore, but please let me know if a future update makes this work again. I'd love to bring these presets back to SV if possible.
Doesn't work at all for me. I'm still running Windows 7 though and I found through googling people saying injectors for Stardew only work on a clean install of Windows 10. Apparently there are some dll issues. I can't confirm if thats really why, though.
Heya, tried this mod, has been awhile since I did but it doesn't seem to work, although I am playing with Smapi and Content patcher, if it doesn't work with those can you make a version that will? Reshade works, I can do the shift+F2 menu but this preset doesn't.
...That just removed the blur entirely, making it useless as it doesn't depixelate it at all... I just wanna decrease the blur/make it a small bit sharper. Anyway I can do that?
Hmm. I would understand this if you wanted like an old gamecube feel or something, but for normal use, I don't really see it being useful. Still cool though. Would love for more reshade mods to come out. Maybe one that adds atmospheric lighting.
It was mostly to see if I could do it. I've created much nicer looking shader effects than this, just not with Reshade.
Yep, more reshade presets is more or less my intention. They're not too hard to make and if I can push out maybe one or two every month, I'll encourage other players to do the same. :)

That should make it a fair bit sharper!
