Hi!!! Will this mod be updated for the big 1.6 patch? This mod means the world to me since I have a pug irl, it’s the only reason I have a steam deck lol. Thank you so much!
Hiya! I would really love to use this mod but for some reason it's not working. Could you help me? I have the latest versions of everything and all required mods. I followed the install instructions. When I go to make my new character, there are only the 3 vanilla dogs - no pugs. I also have no idea how I set which colour I want.
Currently the mod doesn't change the dog appearance on the character creation screen, but that's a great suggestion... You have to select the 1st vanilla dog. All other options will not work. When Marnie shows up to give you the dog, only then will you see the pug.
Regarding the colour, if you've installed the Generic Mod Menu mod, you can go to Options > Mod Options > Derpy Pugs and change it there. Otherwise you can edit the config file on your mods folder.
[Content Patcher] Ignored Derpy Pugs 2 > Load animals/dog2 #4: the When field is invalid: invalid Pug Color condition: invalid values (Abyss); expected one of Fawn, Silver, Black.
hi! love the mod :D would be nice to make the old black pug an option. i didn't like the recolour and had to download the old file to get the previous black pug colour.
First, let me just say thank you for carrying the torch for the original mod author and continuing to update this mod. I love pugs so much.
However, I installed the mod through vortex and it seems the audio isn’t working. All of the dog sounds are the regular dog sounds. I went into the mod configuration menu and made sure the box is checked for the sound. I even tried unchecking the box and then turning it back on.
im really hoping I can get the sound working because I adore having a pug running around on my farm.
I'll try to test this later today. Do you happen to know what SV version you're running? Maybe the dependencies are outdated? It worked on mine but I'll install on a fresh version to troubleshoot.
Edit: It seems like it works properly on mine? Are you sure you installed all the dependencies? To be fair, I haven't updated my game in a while out of laziness in order not to require to update the mods. Maybe something changed on the mods and it doesn't work on the current version. Which version are you running?
If it's not difficult, could you please upload the previous version of black pug? :) I love it, it's so nicely done. I wanted to download older versions for him, but they are gone.

Anyways, Yeah I can make that a thing. Maybe I'll just add another color. Silver, Fawn, Black and Abyss. New black sprite would become abyss and previous black sprite would be plain and simple black. This has been added in version 1.1.1, thanks for the feedback!

Please update to the latest version, that error should be fixed.
