    Please read this if you're confused about the versions:

    Event Edition(RECOMMENDED FOR RRRR)(REQUIRES RRRR):

    Enable customizing the Wizard's look via RRRR exclusive ingame story events accessible after marriage. I suggest you get this version if you are planning to play RRRR or are currently playing RRRR for the story content. It's far more in character for him to be this extra after he's been propped up by the farmer. Please check the main description for event details and how to unlock them.

    Important: This edition has RRRR as a mandatory requirement. It will act like the legacy version of the portraits if RRRR is not installed. Please make sure RRRR is up to date!
    Important 2: The majority of events take place inside of Magnus' spouse room, therefore this is not compatible with any mods that replace spouse rooms.


    Config Editions:
    Fully customize the Wizard's look via configuration options. Different hairstyles currently not supported for the wedding (he will have his original hairstyle). Please get this if you just want Magnus to look pretty, damned be it in character or not. (Also comes in 12 expressions for non-RRRR players).

    Legacy Editions:
    The original version of this mod. Only includes the base portraits and nothing else.  Please download this version if you are using my portraits as a vehicle to implement your own via borrowing my code or just prefer it as simple as possible.

    Hello, how do I make the mage's walking diagram work, will other mods cover the walking diagram, such as seasonal clothing (sorry I'm using a translator)

      I don't know what specific mod you're using. I suggest you delete the Wizard files in them or remove them entirely.

    hello thank you for your hard work making this mod. I apologize if there are translation errors, but I want to ask about several issues that I found.

    A few days ago, this mod was working normally, but suddenly it stopped working. However, for the event in the morning, at Rasmon's house this mod was still working, but I saw the Vanilla version of Rasmon's hairstyle below. There seems to be an overlap. I've tried several things like updating RRR or reinstalling this mod but the result is still the same, the mod doesn't work. I tried looking at the SMAPI Log but nothing seems wrong.

      Please update the mod. The error was due to Seasonal slightly cute aesthetic updating.

    After unlocking the storyline of changing hairstyles, I had the task of getting a haircut, but giving a haircut prop to a wizard at home would be treated as a gift without any events being triggered.

      Restart the game. It looks like an issue with custom fixed dialogue at a glance.

      I have tried rebooting, but the results are always the same. I have also updated the RRRR and custom fixed dialogue to the latest version, but I don't know where the error is.

      I'm not sure either. Does it work if you change your game language to English? There have been issues with it recently. 

      If that doesn't work, submit a patch summary while inside the farmhouse. The instructions are pinned in RRRR.

      In today's game, I seem to have discovered the root cause of the problem. In online games, I am unable to correctly trigger the plot related to the wizard in my own home, and it only triggers when I enter another player's house. Neither of us is a console, and I don't know what caused this.

    Asking around permission, I was planning on combining VampireCowboi's Sprites + Eskbl Portraits + this together as a project for myself.
    Is it alright if I use your glorious code + base sprite sheet?
    (I don't know when it'll all be finished since it's already a lengthy process for my brain to handle but I wanted to take on some kind of project)
    Of course I was going to credit you + VampireCowboi + Eskbl if it actually does get uploaded.

    Much appreciated if this is acknowledged and I love all almost 300k words of your RRRR + this mod!

      My code will not work if the portraits are not used with default resolution (64px) or are reprogrammed for HD portraits.

    Hi Jello! Just asking if I can make portraits in Nyapu's style for this mod. It wouldn't use any assets from your mod except the design (of the wizard and outfits) and I have permission from Nyapu to do so as long as I credit them. (I know there is technically one already, but I like this style of wizard better, you did an amazing job, but I also like to use Nyapu's mod for portraits and my perfectionist brain can't handle two different portrait styles haha)

      I'm almost done, I got sidetracked due to the updates to seasonal cuter outfits as I was updating my own Nyapu portraits for that mod, plus the SVE portraits for 1.6 are coming out soon for Nyapu so I'm even more busy. (Honestly I created a first try version of nyapu for this mod but they turned out below par so I redid them, I'm more than halfway done though on the new MUCH better ones)

      I started a new full time job so it slowed down even more but I dedicate 99% of my free time to stardew these days so it should come sometime within early April since I'm about halfway done. Look forward to it, I like these ones this time! :)

      So I finished it finally, it's here. I tried to stick as close to the original as this mod besides the skin color because of personal preference. I'll probably make a purple skin version at some point but not today lol.

    Hi Jello,

    I'm unsure if this is because I added the events version into my game later in the save, but the clothing cut scene doesn't seem to be playing. I have unlocked the hair events and played through 2 and a half seasons since it did, and the event still doesn't seem to want to play. If there is anything you could suggest, I would greatly appreciate it - or if not, the code for the event so that I may use SMAPI to force the event to start, that would also be helpful if there is no organic way to go about this.

      Thank you. I updated it earlier this morning, and the cut scene has just played out. I do try to keep my mods up to date, but it seemed to have slipped through until earlier. Thank you for your prompt reply. If I hadn't figured it out myself, it surely would have been a great help!

    Hi, quick question! I'm in love with these portraits, I adore them. I'd love to use them, but I don't want to play Stardew Valley Expanded. Instead, I'm using the Romanceable Rasmodius - Updated mod for regular Stardew Valley. Do you know if this mod will still work with that version instead?

    Hello!
    The hair and clothing events you have in RRRR are really cute, and I'm planning on making an older design sprite and portrait set that'll be fully compatible with those events(as well as many of the specific/custom sprite poses the mod calls for). Would it be alright to borrow the code(with credit of course) you have in this mod until I can figure out how conditional sprite/portrait coding works to write my own?

      The easiest way is actually to make replacement pngs and have the person  merge them into this mod. The code for these portraits is about as complicated as they can get for portraits so if you're not used to working with CP mods it's probably near impossible to read without diving into the documentation.

      If you insist on making it a standalone mod, however, then you need to turn the DP off as the coding is a very major part of it and I would formally need to add compatibility in RRRR.

      That all makes sense! Personally I'd be fine with teaching myself how the code all works, it looks like it could be fun to learn.
      That said, it's completely understandable if you don't want to deal with compatibility patches, and I don't want to add to your workload, so I'll make em as replacement pngs.
