This mod is no longer maintained (unless the original author returns to maintain it). You can use the newer Crops Anytime Anywhere instead if you want. Here are the differences in that mod:
* Added option to configure seasons. * More robust implementation using changes in Stardew Valley 1.3. * Fixed mod conflicts (e.g. compatibility issue with Deluxe Auto-Grabber). * Fixed original crops left behind after they grow to a giant crop. * Fixed issues in multiplayer.
Any chance this mod would have configuration options ? As someone who worked in agriculture, i find idea that crops just die when seasons chance, to be fairly atrocious. Id like to be able to grow certain crops across several seasons, with exception of winter. On one hand i like general idea, on the other, i find it equally atrocious to be able to grow stuff in the open during winter.
is it possible to fix the x2 growth in winter for the non-beta 1.3.28 game people too? sorry i don't use the beta, i dunno even how (i'm new to playing stardew valley - but an expert modder in other games!)
I'd rather focus on preparing other mods for 1.3.29 than backporting updates to 1.3.28, sorry! Hopefully 1.3.29 will be out of beta soon so you can get the changes too.
Thanks for this mod, I managed to get a second giant melon this way!
Here's some details about my experience:
1) I don't know if this is caused by using this mod in conjunction with Deluxe Auto-Grabber, but when winter forage crops are grabbed by it it leaves the initial crop behind (Winter Root). As an example, if my forage crops were supposed to be ready for harvest on Winter 27 I'll find the forage in my Auto-Grabber as usual and will be able to pull up the roots too; the game also treats them weirdly as they aren't affected by the foraging bonus (You get normal, silver and gold quality roots). Note that the same problem doesn't occur when I use only Deluxe Auto-Grabber.
2) If a crop becomes a giant you'll be able to see the original underlying and you can't harvest it.

I'm in winter and all my crops grow very fast. For example Parsnips usually take 4 days to grow, but they skip 2 entire stages and are ready to harvest in 2 days (Monday plant and water, Tuesday water, Wednesday harvest). According to the wiki, if I plant it on Monday, it's ready for harvest on Friday and not Wednesday. I don't have the Agriculturist profession and I don't use fertilizers. Is this just a problem in the winter? I haven't tried it in any other season yet.
Sorry, I only update mods for the current version of the game (maintaining parallel versions of everything would be a lot of work). I suggest either updating to the latest versions, or using the older TimeSpeed 1.5.
It will work for custom crops if they're added through SMAPI's content API, but you may need to rename the mod folder (e.g. to z_AllCropAllSeasons) to make sure its edits are applied after any other mod has added their crops.
