This mod is currently unmaintained. It IS updated for 1.6.
I've decided to step back from Stardew modding for the time being, due to general burnout, which I already felt during 1.5.6, and has only gotten worse with the 1.6 release. Who knows, maybe I'll come back to modding this game one day, but for now, it is what it is.
If you're interested in maintaining the mod (just updates, bugfixes, compatibility patches, but maybe new features too?), let me know via a NexusMods DM, or on the Stardew Valley Discord server, or a Discord DM (my handle is @shockah) - I plan on giving mod page edit access to anyone interested, and also switching all DP to the maintainer.
Nope, it doesn't even deal with the amount of ore nodes directly, just stones. I'm not sure if the amount of stones determines the amount of ore nodes or not.
Hi there, absolutely love this mod. It makes dungeon delving into a really frantic challenge. I was wondering if you could please add in the feature to edit how often you can see Monster Floors. I use the mod Boss Creatures and I was hoping to increase the amount of bosses you could encounter during a run. The mod suggests using the mod Custom Dungeon Floors but it seems to be a little incompatible with this mod.
Do this mod work in the Skull Cavern? I ask because, i my opinion the Skull Cavern Invasion is too easy. It don't deserve the Invasion Status for 8 to 12 enemies on the floor. I would like a real challenge. (20+ enemies on the floor, better more).
Sorry, i Test this mod by my self. OMG starting a run in Skull Cavern with aktiv Hardmode Effect using (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/7908?tab=posts) and immediately had so much fun.(was killed immediately because i was unprepared(Setting 25 for monster)). So ignore this Post and Thank you for this challenging Mod. <3
And a Little Tipp for everyone who want more ores. increase the number of stone + using Ore Increase (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/7370?tab=description) in tandem result in a a lot of ore.^_^
Can i remove the new spawns after unlocking the quarry, cuz even though i have many mods with stronger equipment, i'd like the mines to be not crazy. I once almost died instantly from 1 skull, when i wasn't even prepared, and wished (and i think i suggested on some forums back then) to be able to turn them off and on, so this mod could save me with that one.
I do wanna make spawns of vanilla monsters a bit more challenging, so this'd help me with that!
Is it also much to ask for an option that we could edit for above 0 and below 0 luck? My unlucky days would have plenty of spawns XD

Ohhh, so you want to disable some monsters from spawning.
Since actual monster spawning is in a different part of the game's code, I'd have to specifically look into that and implement it. Unfortunately, I'm no longer focused on the current version of the game and instead am working on updating mods for the alpha of the next version of the game. Any extra features which require non-trivial amounts of work will probably have to wait until that version is released.
I see, i'm not using all mods i wanna use for that reason, as many other modders will either not fix stuff, or put stuff down until the next big update. I'll use this one to at least change it a bit for now.

does this change the ore spawns in anyway? i have an old one the works but it breaks the quarry mines. it would be awesome if i could use this instead.

Do this mod work in the Skull Cavern?
I ask because, i my opinion the Skull Cavern Invasion is too easy.
