Yep, it's very likely, The bookseller was introduced in 1.6, I haven't gotten around to updating the mod. It's likely that it does break a lot more stuff with the latest version. I did sleep on the updates and I'm really sorry about that, I know there are some people that really loved this mod, I didn't abandon it by any means, it's just sitting there, in limbo, until I have the time to pick up the game again. Thank you for reporting it, It will be fixed in the next update, until then, you should be able to disable the changes made to the town in the config.

I am eagerly watching this mod for the update, for such a small town to exist and just allow trash blows my mind and makes my OCD angry.  This mod is and will be a lifesaver to people like me!! <3

Thanks for the support, i started working on the update a while ago, it might take a bit longer, but it should be out there by the end of this month, I am really sorry for the slow development, I kinda slacked off lately, mostly personal stuff, I also wanted to optimize the parts i already did, since at the moment, the way this mod works, it replaces maps as a whole, and i can't really say i like that, since it can cause problems with other mods.

that's the the best, mod on nexus. everything that i have being looking for. it's so good, not age the starfruit wine into cellar full of trash and mushrooms, or use a deluxed coop full of holes. The only way this would be better, is, making it work in game, for some in game reason. Like te trash bear or a some type of bunddle

Thank you, it means a lot to hear that my work is appreciated, as a small update, I was thinking of that, maybe making a "lazy" and "not so lazy" version ? Anyway it will come in the future, for now I have no idea how my mod plays out with 1.6 still, and I'm kinda waiting for the whole 1.6 update after update craze to die down so I can start working on a more stable version, for now It doesn't "officially" support 1.6, but if it works it works I guess. There are a lot of things to add, and I'm planning on remaking it from scratch for optimization purposes. Anyway, there is still a long road ahead, and I'm glad you guys are supporting me. So yeah, long story short, I will try to make it more immersive in the future.

This mod is exactly what I'm looking for!! I've been decorating Cindersnap Forest and the town and when the season changes weeds destroy my stuff :( Can't wait for the updated version when it comes! (Good luck with uni meantime!)

Hey, thank you a lot for the support, I'm back in the saddle with Stardew, but the update might take a while, for now i'm waiting for the modpocalypse to stop and for things to get a bit more stable with 1.6

I haven't tested my mod yet with the new update, but chances are it will break a lot of stuff in 1.6. I was planning on remaking it from scratch anyway for optimization purposes and this gives me an even bigger purpose to do so. When i created the mod i mostly did it for myself, but seeing how much people like it gives me motivation to keep working on it, again, thank you for the kind words and the support!

Hi, just a thought but the invisible barrier you mentioned in the known bugs is probably because of the shortcut that's there.

Though I was wondering how this mod changes the trash bear's rewards, as he gets rid of the trash at the bottom of the cliffs (that you can't reach) for you. Like, will nothing happen with this mod? Will he only make the dog happy?

I thought of that, but it's unlikely when you upgrade the town and create shortcuts the game just overwrites that small area, i did not get the chance to test what happens when the game does that but it should be alright, I think the culprit for this might be the fact that some tiles can be marked as solid or not, i'll have to look at each tile ( where the invisible wall is ) and check if they're solid or not ( at least in my theory ) and either mark them as not solid or replace them with something similar ( it's easier in practice than in theory )

In short, i should be able to fix the wall problem in the next update.

Regarding the trash bear event, he won't get rid of the trash anymore ( since there is no trash to begin with ), BUT you still get his rewards ( at least you should still get them, if you don't, contact me) he should still add vegetation to the sewer area, and upgrade the dog's house

I need the same mod, but for all the changes associated with the repair - need buy from Robin. And clean up the trash, from Lewis or Linus.

Interesting idea, i'll have to learn some scripting to do that, but it's definitely possible, the problem is that in doing that i might have to triple the mod in size, which i'm not ready to do for now, i'm too busy with uni at the moment, so i might take a while

As I've been playing around with this, I found something you may want to revisit-- in Ginger Island Southeast cove there is a flute-block puzzle. This mod cleans away the clues to solve that puzzle.

Ilove the coop/barn, the bathhouse, and the clean Ginger Island beaches -- using this one mod will replace three I'd been using to edit those three areas. If I weren't using a different cellar map, I'd love that too. I love that this cleans up the town center (those potholes!!) and modestly touches the sewer. It even hits some areas I didn't notice / don't often notice.

I'm less enamored of the bugland map change, personally, and the beach map feels weirdly empty with no clutter whatsoever -- but hey, I know enough to delete the portions I don't want to use. It might also be argued that getting rid of the trash in town and in the forest messes with the Trash Bear event, though I don't think I mind.

I suppose customization options would be nice, but I don't feel it's a huge lack. Before and after pictures is a great idea.

    Thanks for some pretty maps!

Thank you for your support, I must say that while doing this mod i went through all maps individually, i tried being as careful as possible, and tried taking into account the flute-block puzzle, but who knows what went through my head when cleaning that up. I'll fix it in the next update, it should be out soon

Cleaning the town was a bit more tedious, big maps like the town and the cindersap forest might still have some leftover stuff, the maps are huge and sometimes stuff like rocks/stumps are really really easy to miss, i'll try my best looking some more over them in the future, but my best bet is counting on you guys to point them out sometimes, since one human can miss a lot of stuff

I figured that my bugland version might not be as popular, I mostly use it for processing machines so it made sense for me, i'll make two versions of the mod, one that modifies it and one that keeps it unchanged/ slightly alters it depending on what you guys wish, might also do a lighter version of the beach where i don't remove that much, but as i said, this mostly depends on you guys!

Regarding the Trash Bear event, from my testing it should not mess with it in any way, the way that event works ( at least the way i think it works ) is there's a switch that when turned on simply overwrites a few parts of these maps, mostly the same way a lot of CP mods work.

I'm considering adding customization options, but i think i might do that in a later version of the mod, as much as it modifies, this mod is in a really early stage, and i intend on adding customization once it gains a bot more traction.I love Stardew's modding community and i'm willing to keep updating this mod to make it as better as possible, once again, thank you all for of your suggestions, i'll add them as soon as i'm able to, please keep them coming, this help improve both my mod and my experience as a modder!

Edit 2: After even more testing I found out that everything was fine form the beginning, the reason it didn't show up for you is most likely because they only show up when it's raining on ginger island

Edit 3: Update is out !

The clues only show up when it's raining?? Wow! I learned a thing!

And re: Trash Bear, I meant 'messes with' thematically rather than actually. If there's no/less trash to clean, there's less purpose to the event. But again, I don't think I mind.

this edits all look very cool! I am wondering though, if its compatible with Stardew Valley Redesigned 3. I'll test it in my own time, but I hope to see increasing support for this mod!

I don't think they they might be compatile, they most likely will be in conflict, but you could turn off most maps added by my mod and only replace the ones you care about, that should do less damage, unfortunately my mod does not edit parts of the maps, it replaces them as a whole, at least for now, it's faster and easier for me as a modder, but sloppier, i'll slowly try to optimize it along the way, but for now this has to do

another way would have been for me to modify the tilesets, this would have made my mod a lot more compatible with other mods, but more limited creative-wise, there would have been a lot of invisible barriers, since they would have not been removed, just hidden
