    Will this be updated for 1.6? It's an amazing mod when it works, but right now all my animals say "1 month (baby)" and won't age. I've tried it with the mod set to 0 and set to default.

      Hey, which version of the mod do you have? I uploaded two this morning, 1.1.0 (the legacy version for 1.5) and 2.0.0 (the new version for 1.6). Please make sure you have the newest version. Also, please note that in this new version, if you change the animal's aging time, they won't immediately grow up like in the previous version, you have to sleep a night for them to become adults. If you have version 2.0.0 of my mod installed and the animals aren't aging properly after sleeping one in-game night, please drop a link to the log (getting a link is a simple 3 step process on this page here: https://smapi.io/log/). I will look over it and see if I can figure out what's wrong.

      Thanks! I'm glad you're using the mod and I'm sorry it doesn't seem to be working for you; hopefully I can help figure out what's wrong!

      Hi glymr! Thanks for the super fast response! I had the 1.5 version and last I checked it was the only one. Looks like maybe I missed that you'd updated it. I'm so excited for the new one and really appreciate how fast you were able to get an update out! You're fantastic, thank you so much!! I can't live without this mod because I like to play Stardew as a rancher, which often means animals super early in the game (the new meadowlands farm is great for animals too)!

      Oh, great! Thanks so much for letting me know. ^_^ I uploaded both versions one after another this morning, so it probably threw Nexus off. ^_^;;;

      I'm so happy to hear that the mod is a "can't live without" for you. <3 That makes me feel great! (...Now I'm thinking about a mod to shorten incubation times as well...what do you think?)

      Thanks again! If you have any questions or issues with using the new version, please let me know asap. ^_^

      Try LittleNPCs. I believe there is a config option for it.

    The Mod sounds great and all. But I have NO idea how to actually use it. Like is there a button I need to click to change the number of days. I don't see the instructions anywhere on how to actually use this Mod.

      Hi there! Thanks for your question. The settings are all in the configuration file. There are two ways to change these settings.

      The first way is to install Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM for short). GMCM is an EXCELLENT mod that lets you control the configuration of almost any other mod in-game. This is very useful, because you can see changes live just a few seconds after you save them. (It usually takes a tick of the in-game clock for changes to show up.) GMCM isn't just useful for my mod, it's useful for any mod that uses a config file. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5098

      The other way is to edit the config file directly. Once you have put the Animal Aging mod in your mod folder and started the game once (even if you don't save the day), a file called "config.json" will be created in the Animal Aging folder. You will see a list of options, such as:
        "WhiteChickenAge": "3",
        "BrownChickenAge": "3",
        "BlueChickenAge": "3",

      Simply change the number inside the quotes to the number of days you want it to take for your animal to grow up. The default will be the vanilla game numbers (chickens take 3 days, cows take 5 days, etc). You can make this number anywhere between 0 and 255. If you make it 0, all animals of that type you have on your farm will become adults immediately. If you make it 255, it will take 255 days for all animals of that type to become adults. So if you've had a white chicken for 2 days and you change the setting to 255 days, from that point on it will take 253 days for your chicken to grow up. This counter starts from when the chicken was purchased, regardless of when you change the number in the config. Do not make the number higher than 255 or lower than 0, or it will crash your game.

      If you have any problems with the config, you can delete the config.json file. It will be re-generated upon the next start up with all the numbers set back to default.

      Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues with the mod.

      Thanks again for the question! I will add this information to the description and create a readme so that others have access to this information as well.
