Will you support Seasonal Outfits? No. It would be a huge undertaking and I don't have the time for it unfortunately.
Will you make portraits for SVE, RSV, ES or other expansion mods? No. I currently don't have plans for it.
Do you accept commissions? I currently don't accept any more commissions.
Can you make alternative versions for portraits (gender swaps, different hairstyles, etc.)? I'm open to feedback and suggestions but I don't intend to make alt versions at the time.
Some portraits still have the original art. I left out the portraits for Krobus, Grandpa, Fizz, the Henchman and the Bear. I may include them in a future update. If you notice anything missing outside of those, please let me know.
Can I make alterations/additions to your portraits and upload it as a new mod? Yes, but only under the following conditions:
Your mod does not include unaltered files from my mod.
Your mod cannot function without mine, and lists it as a requirement.
My work is clearly credited and none of your work is attributed to me.
I really love your portraits but am a bit sad you aren't going to make them for SVE. I guess I will have to just accept the fact that Morris will always be a portrait changer. xD I also understand why, it would be a lot of extra work to make portraits for expansions and other mods and the work might never end if you did decide to do it. I will continue to use your portraits however because I like how Elliot looks in your portraits :D
Hello, what size of canvas do you use? I'm new to sdv but i already am interested into getting mods hehe. I wanna ask your canvas size and if can a guide to mod the image, do you just replace them? i really like this art style of yours and i wanna make the sve version
I love this so much, I wish there were seasonal outfits bc I've been looking forever for a perfect portrait mod that supports the seasonal outfit and this would've been great 😭 but I understand not having time!!
the portraits are beautiful and catches the vanilla style of stardew but also makes it more realistic, I wanted to ask a question, are there the seasonal outfits too?
Just wanted to post my appreciation, I love this mod so much! Each one captures all of the villagers and their different expressions perfectly. So happy to make this my main portrait mod <3
Just wanted to stop by and let you know that I LOVE this mod. It's simple, pretty, and stays true to the personality of the characters. Emily's portrait was my main driving factor in choosing this mod. Now it's my favorite portrait mod.
I am a smidge sad that it won't get seasonal outfits, but I do understand. Modding is a hobby, and sometimes life just doesn't let you have enough time for such time-consuming hobbies.
Thank you so much for the mod, been using it for quite a long time. I'm especially grateful for Emilys portrait, it looks gorgeous imo :) I've encountered some bugs like Morrises portrait bugging from time to time, Marlons portrait not changed but those are minor issues, and I don't mind them <3.
This is by far the best redesign of portraits that exists for Stardew Valley. It looks incredibly professional and all the characters stay true to their personalities and the tone of the game, not to mention they look gorgeous and they're also consistent with each other (head size, proportions, color palette, etc.). The fact that you took the time to make the new winter variants is awesome.
I know you've already said that you have no plans to make seasonal/festival variants and I understand that it's a huge undertaking. However, I genuinely think that's the only thing that's stopping anyone from choosing this mod over the currently most popular "Slightly Cuter Aesthetic" sets by Poltergeister. That and the lack of consistency with SVE. Now that Poltergeister is completely retired from modding, I seriously think that if you have any time at all, you should consider possibly taking on that role. The ideas are already there you could essentially take inspiration from Poltergeister's portraits when it comes to the actual outfits/hairstyles, both for his seasonal variants and/or for SVE. And you could maybe reach out to him and see if he's interested in giving you use of his sprites.
Your art style is incredibly beautiful and unique and if more Stardew content received representation, I think people would go nuts for it. I wouldn't be surprised if even FlashShifter or ConcernedApe would be interested in working with you for their own content. Most fan-made portrait redesigns can make the portraits better looking but often diverge from the general theme of the game's aesthetic. Yours however, in my opinion, is a flat out upgrade with no lateral divergence. I believe it has the potential to be the default for not just Stardew but for any of ConcernedApe's content moving forward.
Thank you! I really appreciate your comment, but my plans haven't changed. Honestly speaking, I don't want to adapt Poltergeister's Seasonal Outfits for a number of reasons so if I was going to add seasonal variants it'd need to be done from scratch (which obviously comes with a bunch of challenges as well.)
