Question of Honor: Is it better the warp point inside Grandpa's shed or outside? You know, there are obstacles that are supposed to slow down your access to the shed until you improve your tools... what do you think?
I downloaded the mod, and the warps for SVE show up, but nothing for ridgeside or any other mod.. did I do something wrong? edit: i figured it out! user error
Will this mod still work with the new CBJ update? CBJ Cheats Menu changed the way they do warps so I am worried about causing problems if I continue to use the extra warps from this mod.
I have read the description and I've been using this mod for a while but the new update to CJB removed the WarpsEnglish folder so there is no WarpsEnglish folder to replace when downloading this mod. Maybe try rereading what I wrote.
CJB still uses warps.json to make a list of warp points, just now in cooperation with default.json as "a translator" of those points. you can edit these files (keep the formatting tho!) and add, remove, rename the warp points just like before, only the format of warp points changed a bit.
i removed the "warps english" because i make my own warps.json & default.json list anyway, so it's already with the names i want (no need to translate).
if you use sve it will add its own warp points on top of any of your changes in warps.json & default.json - if you don't want that, go to Mods/Stardew Valley Expanded/[CP] Stardew Valley Expanded/code/Locations and delete the CJBWarps.json file - or take whatever warp points you'd want from it and add to your self curated warp points list in CJB.
SVE just changed the way it does warps, now directly affecting the CJB warp menu. I'm not skilled enough to edit content in such a large file. Any plans to adjust the mod to accommodate this? I know the SVE JUST updated, but I'm wondering how deep I should go with this... ;'o
For the moment there is not much to do, I saw that the creator of SVE also fell into the same problem as I did when replacing locations with the new CJB update. I am waiting for the CJB creator to answer me how this can be achieved.
I'll keep playing with it for now then! TBH it was fun learning to mod the code and how it worked. I might just go back to the broken and messy menu I had after the update. At least I could access my summit farm easier. Thanks for the fast reply and all your work with the mod!
guys you can edit the warps.json & default.json and save it you know? the format changed a bit and now you need to use the kind of identifiers like warps.place and warps-section.section-name to group warp points in warps.json and then "translate" these identifiers to things like "Robin's Carpentry Shop" and "Mountain Area" respectively in default.json <- that's in CJB
anyhow it's still well possible to edit the warp point list that's showing up in CJB menu. just gotta edit the file, so pretty much like before. just update it to the new format and voila.
if you use SVE i just found the place where their warp points inject from - in Mods/Stardew Valley Expanded/[CP] Stardew Valley Expanded/code/Locations there is the CJBWarps.json file - if you don't want any of these injections, just delete the file, or else you can also use the data from those warp points to add them to your manually curated warps list in CJB.

It is incorrectly installed, do not use vortex. When you unzip, if you get a single folder, inside this are the two folders that you must move to the Mods folder and replace.
Hey so maybe dumb question but I'm sick. But I'm assuming that when the regular CJB cheats updates we need to reinstall this mod as well? Is there a suggestion for making this simpler because i swear for some reason my brain treats this like the most complicated process on the face of the planet when I know its not.
Hahaha it can happen, unfortunately as this file replaces the CJB files it is the only procedure. The easiest thing to do would be not to update CJB, all updates are usually bug fixes or translation updates. The other is to keep a copy of this mod, I don't think it will be updated for a long time so you will always have the latest version without having to download it over and over again. Have a nice day!
Hello, thank you for this mod!! I use it all the time. And thank you for your translations. I don't know Spanish but translations are always good to see!
And I have a question, how do I charge the warp point for my farm home? I tried editing the coordinates and saving, but it teleported me to the abyss lol
Hello, that warp takes you directly to the entrance of your house. If you want to go outside your farm just change "Location": "FarmHouse" to "Location": "Farm". And start playing with the coordinates. You can use the "Debug Mode" Mod which will show you the exact coordinates of where you are standing.
Good Evening and first of THANK YOU for all your hard work.... secondly I love your mods.... my newest farm is the Immersive Farm 2... but I also have SDV Expanded, Ridgeside, and East Scarp.... if there a way to add RSV and ES warps to the Immersive Farm/SDV warp file? I tried to c&P the RSV & ES sections into the immersive farm/SDV warps and I musta missed some code as it didn't work.
I have the warp file for Immersive farm 2 with SVE.... but that doesn't include warps to Ridgeside Village or East Scarp.... and the warp file with warps to RSV and ES do not include Immersive Farm 2.... so I was wondering if there was a way to add the warp locations for Ridgeside Village and East Scarp to the file for Immersive Farm 2 with SVE does that make sense?
It is easier to c&p the warps from that file to mine, but do it as you find it easier. What you have to copy follows this format: "Immersive Farm...": [ The warp points ],

It's described here.
Also looking forward for a support of "Lumisteria Visit Mount Vapius".
