[SMAPI] - (CP) Victy Villager portrait re-texture 1.0.1 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedCP). can anyone help me please? is it possible to add CP version w/o SVE?
The file contains two folders, if you don't have SVE, just delete the SVE compatible version of this mod and put the first folder into mods, and it's done.
Thank you, I didn't notice that these folders are different. However, now then I put it in the mods folder, some of the portraits do not change. Can you assist me and tell where might be a problem please? (upd: some of them are working and some of others are not so I suppose the problem lies in the code)

naver is really easy to sign up to actually, its the account verification that's annoying (because you need to be verified to join the stardew community) but it literally took less than a day for my application to get accepted. i can help you with this if needed!
otherwise, i could give you a one time dl link for the winter protraits for these un-marriagable npcs but i'm not sure about op's redistribution rules. the marriagable candidates winter outfits have already been uploaded onto here https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22645 (male) and here https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22644 (female).
as for sprites, people on naver have made so many variations for the marriagable candidates but theres two i use that include winter outfits. https://cafe.naver.com/starvall/436766 (account for creator that made the males) and https://cafe.naver.com/starvall/440881 (post for female sprites).
I'll try to make this as short and simple as possible :3
1. So after you have made your NAVER account, you want to go to your account profile and find the part where it lists your name and there should be a button about getting verified right next to it. It was in Korean for me, but at the bottom of the page theres a button labeled 한국어 with a dropdown arrow and you can change the page to English. You should now be able to find that verify button easily enough.
2. If you click on the verify/change name button, you'll know you're at the right page if something like 서비스 이용 시 실명·연령확인을 위해본인인증을 진행해 주세요 appears, and the page should have two buttons that say 본인 휴대전화 and 아이핀. Ignore those and look at the bottom where it says something like "If you need help" or "You need to confirm your real name to use this service", you'll want to open the dropdown box.
3. Press on "the help guide" link and it should take you to a page in English. If you're not living in Korea (or you're not Korean) then you need to read the heading titled 2. Foreigners (without an alien registration card). This will help you when you fill out the verification form. If you're ready then click on the link at the button titled "click" and it'll take you to the form. This part is self explanatory.
Note: Be SUPER specific with what's on your ID card. For example, if your name is John Doe Smith and your ID says John D Smith, make sure you write that on the form.

hello! i couldnt make an account on naver to download the latestt portraits for the other nps, i already have bachelors and bachelorettes, just not the other villagers. can someone pls send me at least a link for the updated version?
been going crazy trying to fix it but... i'm in winter right now in SDV. this mod doesnt work during winter... right? TT^TT someone please help. the villagers are showing as the og portraits and its jarring now that im used to the victy villagers T_T
Try make duplicate of each character's portrait png (default version only, not the beach version). Like just simply copy and paste them in the same folder. And then rename them with "_Winter". For example "Clint.png", so the duplicate file will be "Clint_Winter.png".

So what worked for me was going into the original Naver Post: https://cafe.naver.com/starvall/389493
1. Download the file and delete any previous mod files from this mod. 2. Extract the folder. 3. Go into the folder and copy the first folder into your mods folder. The mod actually came with two folders so it messed something up. 4. Run the game.

I don't have SVE but I've read you don't need SVE for this mod to work. The romanceable character portrait mods are working fine.
