Sprite and Portrait Replacements for Morris to look like Dobson from the original game concept. This mod is a cosmetic change only. No Dialogues or Character renames done. It is made to replace the assets found in "Slightly Cuter Aesthetic" by Poltergeister.
I'm on my third play through of SDV and I was getting tired of Morris, so I decided to bring Dobson back, at least in spirit. Maybe someone else will appreciate it, too.
Now, a disclaimer. The mod is supposed to be used in conjunction with "Slightly Cuter Aesthetic" by Poltergeister, as I already mentioned, but in reality, Dobson can be used with any portrait mod that uses seasonal variants as long as you rename and place the files in the correct places.
So, How do you get your very own Dobson in your game? Simple:
1. Open your seasonal mod folder of choice.
2. Open "Morris2Dobson" folder.
3. Drag and drop or copy and paste the Dobson portraits replacing the Morris portraits.
4. Repeat for the sprites.
5. Now, download Ultimate Villager Manager by ApollyonSV.
6. In the configuration menu, replace Morris' name with Dobson (and don't forget to change the possessive to 's)
7. Tada! Dobson is now part of your game!
Now, there's an 8th step for full integration, and for that you will need to go through all your Dialogue mods and replace the word "Morris" to "Dobson" in the dialogues. For example:
