can someone please send me the dialogue xnb that is merged of the Doki doki convo with the expanded elliot convo i literal have 0 idea in editing text if someone has a coPY they already merged PLEASE hELP ;~;
Hello! So when we edit this dialogue to put into the dialogue expansion, do we also add "#!String" at the end of each line as well? In your instructions for the dialogue expansion, you said to just copy and paste the doki doki dialogue into it, but I noticed that the dialogue for the expansion version ends with "#!String," so I assumed that we also add it to the doki doki expansion as well when we paste it in.

Hi! I'm really looking forward to trying out your mods; they sound right up my street! I have a couple of queries though: I started using the content patcher versions of all four of your mods and the other three seem to install just fine but SMAPI is saying that the Elliott content.json isn't correct JSON, when I took a look at the file it did seem to be formatted differently from the other bachelors'. I think I'll try later to rework it into the same format as the others and see if that works. Also on each of the mod pages, under the content patcher instructions you say that the mod folds will also contain the xnb files, but on downloading them none of them seem to! ( I don't know if they really are supposed to be in there or not) I haven't actually encountered any of the new dialogue yet, but I've only played a few in game days since downloading ( though all four bachelors do have more than four hearts), so I'm not sure if it's because the xnb haven't changed or I just haven't happened to find any yet. I'll try changing the xnb as well and see if that works, but I just thought I'd let you know! On a separate note, I really do wish you all the best working towards becoming a writer for Bioware, that's a really cool dream! :)

Try downloading it again and running it; it should work fine now (if it's not though, please let me know). Thanks for bringing that to my attention! - As for the instructions, that's totally a mistake on my part -- I uploaded the files really late last night and totally forgot to update the installation instructions! The OLD content packs had XNBs in them, but I've remade them since then so that they don't need to anymore. I'll go and fix that right now; I'm sorry for the confusion! - You should start encountering my dialogue at six hearts rather than four hearts -- there's only one four-heart line per character, and it shows up during Spring only (it's about the Flower Dance). Otherwise, the rest is at 6 hearts and up. However, I haven't been able to extensively playtest the Content Patcher versions; I did a really quick check to confirm any lines at all were showing up (which they did), so I would hope all the other lines worked just the same... nonetheless, if you still aren't able to trigger any dialogue, please let me know!

So I have now confirmed that the mods, at least Alex's one, are appearing properly! Luckily he was pretty close to 6 hearts anyway :) In terms of Elliott's, I re-downloaded and installed but I'm still getting an error message. For you reference I uploaded a screenshot of the SMAPI message at:

I took the version that was Sabreene-compatible and CP'd it. Hope that's okay with you! You had your file targeting to replace so I went through with an Edit Data instead c:

I want to use your mod with the Elliott -Dialogue Expension mod by sabreene (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1648).
I modified everything as it had to be, but do I have to put the lines of your content at the end of Sabreene's content?
Or since the 2 mods are CPs, can I put the 2 separate folders directly into Stardew Valley Mods?
