Super cute recolor!! Nothing fancy or ornate, just good colors combined well and a hint of greenery.. Classic. I followed the install isntructions of your other comment and it worked great. Thank you for this mod!!!!!
I literally never do this, but I thought I'd try -- is there any chance you'd be interesting in doing a matching recolor of the sheds as well? If not, totally fine!!!
i absolutely enjoy the colours on this ... but i cannot get it to work ? i extracted the zip file and put it into the mods folder just like any other mod ... if you could help i would GREATLY appreciate it :] i may be being silly about it
Replace the existing .xnb files under Content with the ones from the mod. Make sure you replace the correct files! There are different files with the same name (like Content/Data/hats.xnb and Content/Characters/hats.xnb), and replacing the wrong file will cause in-game errors or crashes.
That's it! It's simpler than it sounds. You just find the file and replace.
Both of my files replace those found in "Stardew Valley\Content\Buildings" folder.
It's not necessary, but sometimes good to backup the original file first before replacing, or change its name before dropping XNB mods in. That way if you ever want to revert, you can just rename/delete the mod xnb and restore the original file. For example, this replaces "houses.xnb", so I'd rename the original to "houses_original.xnb" and drop this file in. To restore, just delete/rename this mod file to "houses_ModName.xnb" and rename the original back to "houses_original.xnb" -> "houses.xnb"
