Would it be possible to setup a json data format that can be used to specify tiles where the frog ring cannot jump beyond? That way, end users can write in areas that they don't want jumping beyond e.g. boulders intentionally placed to block a path/progression. Also if it's user-configurable, that data can be shared here and incorporated by you if desired.
It's technically possible - I'm just reading from the map file itself, which can be edited by content patcher. But that syntax would be quite verbose to set up a wall (the system mostly exists for other mod authors, if they wanted a wall)

Yup, they do that! (The bunnies in vanilla do that as well, there's just a lot fewer of them.)
(I disabled that for walnuts, though, since otherwise you can sequence break two walnuts...I say, as if you couldn't sequence break them with the frog ring anyways. But they can harvest other bushes!)
Love the frog ring but I've encountered a bug with it. If you swing a weapon or scythe after pressing the jump button you can move freely while charging the jump. If you do this running jump out of a building, it will cause the camera to start at a far distance away from the player before slowly panning over. It also lets the player stand on tiles they shouldn't like the river.
Well, have you considered not doing that (while I sigh and lock the player from swinging tools during frogJump as well)

One thing I will note: you can still break the freeze on movement by animation canceling (which I'm intentionally leaving because you have to go out of your way to animation cancel). Don't Stop Me Now will also break the freeze on movement. But now scythe/weapon swing (or picking up furniture) won't do it anymore.

Looking more deeply at your log - you're out of memory, you likely will need to remove mods until things work again.
