Since aedenthorn stopped developing and can't be reached, I'll just put up a continuation of the mod here on Nexus. All of his mods are under GPL v3, which means everyone can freely modify and distribute his work. I'll update and maintain it at: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22953 A version for 1.6.4/1.6.5 is already available. You can simply replace the old version, no extra work needed.
since 1.6.4 breaks this redux, would it be safe to remove this for now then add it back later if and when its fixed? will that mean my previous saves will be gone forever?
Unfortunately Aedenthorn is on an indefinite hiatus, so someone will have to make an unofficial update to this mod. (On the bright side, I believe it works in 1.6, it just won't allow you to choose another save on the menu, so it's less a backup to choose from and more a stealth backup!)

Hey there, I'm having an issue I'm not sure how to fix? When I saved last, I exited the game and then reloaded to make sure it worked. However, my latest save was missing and all my progress (about 2 hours) was lost. I'm not sure what happened, but is there a way to access that save? Or is it a normal issue for saves to just go missing? Any help would be great, as this mod has been otherwise very helpful!
edit: oh nevermind. I read the description again, and I missed the part where it said it would reset your day and not save your progress. :/ sighs. okay, thats my fault
