Read the front page fully and you'll find https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/6304 "Destroyable Bushes" which does the same thing but adding bushes needs you enter text in SMAPI console instead of shopping it from Caroline. So you don't need this mod to update even if it could be nice. Also, if your aim isn't bushes but to get rid of blocks in your path, then use https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/20943 "Let's Move It' and pickup the block to put it elsewhere, permanently per save.
The base game shop menu doesn't suppress input while it's opening. This is something that will be fixed in Stardew 1.6 (and also something I slipped into a different one of my mods.) I thought I had it suppressed correctly in this mod as well but there's a non-trivial chance I didn't do it correctly for controllers. Installing that mod will fix it, although I understand if you don't want to.
Unfortunately, with Stardew 1.6 so close (and, honestly, most of my mods ported over already) I'm not really in a position where I can make new releases for 1.5.6. (I had a, like, 70% of an update cycle done before I had to switch gears to do 1.6 ports, so my dev branch is a mess of half-completed code and I WILL get myself confused/merge conflict myself I try touching it now.)
As for taking more than one tile for my shop - I don't generally like doing that because we as modders all share vanilla map space which is...pretty limited. (How many mods are putting items on Robin's desk, lol.) For this mod, maybe (again, in the update-for-1.6) because this isn't really a highly contested space. I'll think about it, I might come up with a solution that isn't too terrible...but, again, 1.6.
Hello!! Just wanted to thank you for making this mod, but I need some help locating the planter to buy the bushes from. I'm unsure which planter is the one you buy them from, and I don't have access to the furniture catalogue yet. Is there something I'm missing? It is also winter in the game when I am attempting to buy these, so if that's a problem it'd be good to know.
If you place these in the greenhouse, will they grow Salmonberries or Blackberries year round, or during Spring/Fall? I could see this being really neat for greenhouse decor purposes along with functionality :)

Gotta mix up gameplay every once in a while so I like to break it up by doing stuff like selling food/flowers/just honey/etc. Thank you for the added option!

I also think it would be nice to make the shop open when clicking on any tile of the shop bush instead of only the middle one.
