Really love how simple this map looks like no over bearing ponds spread throughout the farm. I would just like to know if you are able to create a Forest and Hill-Top variant of a farm similar to this one. Would really appreciate thank you.
I just tried this map today and got the same issue. If the mod's author is still updating this, somewhere in the description it should really say that it requires SMAPI 2.0 and not the most up-to-date version of SMAPI. Or the mod should just be updated for SMAPI 2.3+.
I had this working great, then suddenly, the waterfalls turned into a bunch of weird white/brown lines instead of waterfalls. Any idea what I might have overwritten to screw that up? I would love to fix it, but I can't seem to fix it by overwriting the mod with a fresh download.
Also, I originally installed the "car" map accidentally, started my game, wanted to swap to the "no car" version, but didn't realize it til I'd been playing a while. Is there any way to update the map to the "no car" map without losing my stuff?
After many reloads, it randomly fixed itself on the waterfalls.
I'm still stumped on how to remove the car tho XD
I also wanted to ask if the rock quarry in bottom right is meant to do anything other than have initial rocks in it? I wonder if it has any integration with Mining at the Farm?
Ooooh I would definitely love to know how to swap from the car map to the not car map if possible, as I've now realized it's location conflicts with the minecart from minecarts everywhere and if I ride home, I can't get out. XD
Appreciate the kind words I think just replacing the map file "should" work, not 100 percent on that. I think those texture issues could be from too many mods, or maybe a different version of the mod requirements. I'm new to the whole map making thing so I'm sorry I can't be anymore help. Best of luck, hope you manage to get it to work.
So add the "content" folder into Stardew Valley folder as usual. Then take the file called "map" from Stardew Springs\Mods\CustomFarmTypes\FarmTypes\Stardew Springs and rename it to "Farm". Finally drop that file into this location in the Stardew Valley directory, Stardew Valley\Content\Maps. So now you should be able to play Stardew Springs without any mods.
I hope I explained that well enough, good luck and hope you have fun
just letting you know i really love this map! i'm very picky about my maps and i can never find anything nice between "way too huge" and "too small to make pretty" and i always have to edit the heck out of any map i use. for this i really only added the water sound effects! it's super lovely, thank you for your hard work!
Its working fine for me, did you have the previous version of the map and try swapping over? Maybe try replacing the map file again and if that fails try making a new save, hope it all works out!
Great map! I like the waterfalls at the bottom and the space feels like the right size, not too big to be overwhelming.
Can the minecart above the cave be usable, or is that decoration? I have custom minecart's installed but the space it usually appears is taken up by the truck.
I also kinda wish I could go inside the pet house haha.
The minecart above the cave is purely decoration, there are several mods out there that make the cave bigger so I thought adding that would add some depth to the cave. I'll make a version without the car so hopefully the custom minecart will work and fit the map well.
Funny thing about the shed/pet house out the back is the only reason I put it there was because the tile for the dogs 2x2 spot has shadows on the right side and with nothing next to it looked strange. I didn't want to put a fence next to it because it reduced the space in the yard and the shed looked cool. I might make a version later where it can be entered but I'm still learning tIDE

EDIT: my issue was smapi 2.1. downgrading to version 2.0 solved the issue

I spent ages trying to get the sizes just right so I'm glad you are as happy with them as I am.

I can make a version without those if you'd like
