i just started playing sdv and modding and was wanting to use this mod but seems to not be working right now? is it repairable or is there another mod similar?
Works great with 1.6, I tried it in the mines along with the auto attack mod and it worked just fine, switching between monsters, and rocks. Works on the Tractor, just have to manually switch tools on it.
Hold Left Alt (or whatever you've configured it for).
While holding Left Alt, click the tool you want to combine onto.
I did notice that stacked tools can't be put in chests, but I'm not sure if that's actually expected. Like I said, I'm not super familiar with this mod -- can you folks let me know what exactly you're trying that isn't working? Also, could you clarify what you mean when you say you can't use them in your backpack? In my backpack, I can hit X when hovering over a tool to cycle between them, or Z to split the stacked tool up.
When I use the mod key, it just swaps tools on my cursor, doesn't stack. I went into Generic Mod Config Menu, changed the binding key and it still swaps tools, doesn't stack.
thanks it works good,the only thing i noticed is that the new fish baits that let you have a better chance at catching that fish goes blank(forgets what fish it was made with) when you switch or remove the tools making them (the baits) useless.
Thanks for your help on this! This is the only thing I really feel a STRONG need to change about the vanilla game & you've taken it up from someone retired even though you're not familiar(:
I'm forever grateful for this update, as this is my number one must-have mod. The only thing I noticed being a little wonky is when I try to use it in the mines to switch automatically between the pickaxe and the weapon, with the pickaxe remaining even when I attack an enemy. Is this a bug or have I missed a config option?

When adding a fishing rod (any of them) to a tool stack it gives said fishing rod both a bait and (single)tackle slot so the bamboo rod and adv. iridium rod are essentially the same this also works with the training rod

Love this mod but I noticed that I can't input combined keybinds on this mod and when I try through editing the config.json the mod crashes. Any news on support for Combined Keybindings?
Any thoughts about adding kind of a path to unlock this in game? I often find it enjoyable when a mod will gatekeep certain features behind different obstacles. Like needing to use a prismatic shard, or post community center.
Totally understand if that's not a goal at all! Just a thought, I think it's nice when mods fit semi naturally into the existing game like that. :)
Hey! So I have noticed that when I forge my galaxy sword with more than one ruby and then put it back into my omni-tool, it degrades back to being forged only once. I have wasted quite a few rubies and cinder shards this way.

nevermind! pro tip, don't configure the right-click to remove the tools xDI have tested myself for a while and I'm not sure if there is any bug with another mod, but when I open the chest this is uncombining the tools, could you please help me?

This happens only if you open the chest with the tool selected, so I believe that is no a problem here!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Not an issue if filling the can is a zero-energy action, but kinda unfortunate if it does use energy. (Not sure if anyone here would know about that.)
