Please delete the Hermit Isle Farm mod folder and do a clean reinstall of this mod. If you're struggling with applying custom changes to the cfl_map.json I wouldn't be able to help without taking a look at it first.
First of all, love the farm. Absolutely loving and going to be using it for my Rsv playthrough. however, visible fish appears to only show trash when i can catch fish could you look into that? thanks

Absolutely a dream!!! A perfect and balanced Island and amazing job..But!.. I can give up with a lot of pain to Hot Spring Farm Cave by DustBeauty, (logically incompatible).. But, I do not want to give up my bird in the letterbox, please.. 😭
However, the bird does come in the other decorations of friends houses (which I installed just to see). Is it possible to solve this? Since it takes me a bit out of the Medieval Beach context in my new paradise 😉
It is strange that the rest of the constructions do belong to the Mod of Gweniaczek, it's all ok. The mailbox, then, is separate, I understand. Not sure that this is a bug.. But in my others farms, i have my friendly pigeon, and I'm so happy.. 😋
The Mod it doesn't work is this: Pigeon Mailbox by Gweniaczek (although Smapi it says it's loaded).. 🤯

Re-edit: I started a new game today, on your wonderful island 😌, and this time I wanted to see the intro, but when Robin comes to pick you up at the bus stop and says 'follow me', instead of arriving at the farm gate, you go on forever following Robin across the sea (you never get to the door). You have to skip the intro with Robin and Lewis, it saves and you start the next day as normal.
Hello! Thank you for all the kind words ^^ I've released an update to address the spring farmcave and pigeon mailbox not working with this mod. In case you missed it you can now toggle the vanilla mailbox/farmcave options using gmcm. I am not really sure what causes robin to hike across the ocean, perhaps she suddenly reached a state of enlightenment, or maybe the map is too big and it bugs out. For now I think it's fine if people just skip that event. If something like this happens for any other event please do tell and I'll have another look at it.

As they're a part of the map unfortunately not. You can however modify the .tmx map file using Tiled freely. I'll consider adding options to disable decorations for further updates and maps.

I'm new about the map mod stuff and trying to install your Hermit Isle Farm mod, but... sorry for I don't know if it's a very simple thing that everybody should know, but could you please tell me is there any mods requirement or maybe where can I find your farm in the game's menu? seems there don't have any error message in SMAPI, and I can't find your map in new game menu, I don't know how to do to create your island farm to play with, TY :)
Hello, if you installed everything correctly you'll see a cog wheel icon in the lower right hand corner of the new game menu. Clicking that opens a list of installed custom farms.
The framework mods required for this map to function are Content Patcher, Custom Farm Loader and MinecartPatcher.
It should be noted that hermit isle can't be played on android until it receives its 1.5.5 update and CFL releases an android version.
TY for the instructions I can finally set up and play and my kid do love it! but somehow it doesn't work with multiplayer split screen for whoever wants to join the map (In same PC), crashed when they start join the map or leave the house. could it be possible to fix? or custom farm map just doesn't work for multiplayer? (for single PC specificly?)

To me this seems to be a bug in Content Patcher. I'll have a chat to see what can be done short term and come back to you. Btw in the future you can upload your log file to smapi.io/log and share the link here.
TY! now I know what to do with logs in the future, so I'll post my log here if you need it. BTW, just saying it, just notice that the error message is also shown while I'm play with other farm map/save multi play as well, although I don't think it cause any problem actually, no crash, no any actual problem, just error message, so I don't think its a big deal need to be fix immediately, just want to let you know about it.
I just try it with multiplayer and I can now join without the error, I've worked around the farm and haven't seen any problem except one funny thing happened in cross road, that's the Spring Onions are all just lying on the ground instead of planting in the dirt, but so far it is really a great farm map to play with at all.
Ah, you're correct! The farmtype conditions for the warp changes towards the crossroad are missing! I'll release a fixed version asap, for now please just temporarily remove the mod while playing on other farms.
It's a bit of both. The farm is a small island now with an upgraded farm cave and where the farm once was there is now a new crossroad location that npcs use in their pathing that connects the forest, bus stop, backwoods and the hermit isle farm.
You can place sprinklers on sand. It is something I noticed with the beach farm tileset during playtesting and it bothered me as well, so I changed it.
