Hey! I was wondering if you have any download instructions for someone who uses Vortex? (that's me XD) Will the mod just work if I install it there or do I still need to manually do everything? I'm using Vortex for every other mod so this confuses me a little
For others reading this, Yes you have to do everything manually. Vortex isnt exactly smart when it comes to installation. If you are doing sprite replacements not through Content Patcher or if something needs to be replaced in general in one mod then vortex doesnt know the path to stick it in as it is set to only ever use the mods folder that everything gets installed to. It cannot nest deeper than that on its own and requires a sentient person to manually drag the files. This is because stardew valley is not a bethesda game and the extension for stardew does not have this option integrated inside to be able to pick and choose.
These are so cute!!! I'm so happy that someone decided to edit my sprites for people who like a more earthy aesthetic. I think you did a wonderful job :) I will happily link this mod in the description of my mod so more people will check it out!
Is it normal to have to manually make the path you described in order to install this? More Giant Crops didn't have any deeper folders, Installed it both ways just to schizo-check myself, But either way it doesn't make any folders past the one it makes in the mods folder itself
For anyone else wondering, you need to run smapi once before the folders will generate in mods like config files. The assets folder is created upon initilization

I believe if png files are in a folder format like this it can easily be installed via vortex
