Hey, this is mod is reaally cute and I love it, but the hearts don't work with SVE :( Here you can see the SVE mods I have. The hearts don't appear on ANY (not just vanilla) NPCs when I play with SVE, when I move my SVE mod folder (all of the mods I've shown) away from my Mods folder, then it works. I don't see why this mod would not be compatible with any of my SVE mods. MY Smapi doesn't show any error messages.
Edit: Found the reason, there's an option for a different UI theme in SVE which I use. It was that. A shame because the theme is pretty but your mod works, no worries! Would it be possible to make this mod compatible with the Galdoran theme from SVE?
To keep things short, FlashShifter has stolen assets and ideas from other mod authors in the past and he refuses to change SVE or add configuration options to accommodate other mods beyond the bare minimum and expects other modders to work around SVE instead. SVE is also poorly-coded to the point where it actively inhibits other mods from co-existing with SVE without extensive work from other modders and Flash has refused to update it unless pushed by other modders, and since SVE is considered a "must-have mod" by so much of the fandom, many SVE fans harass other mod authors by leaving compatibility requests and demands in their comments.
Perhaps it could be listed in the description that the mod is not SVE compatible and that you do not want anyone to ever make it SVE compatible as well, to avoid those who have SVE installing the mod and going through errors? It only states that it's not compatible with the Galdorian theme and not SVE entirely, which is unfortunately a tad confusing.
Hey, I got a message today that the makers of sve are also involved in the development of Stardew Valley 1.6. It was hard for me to accept and I didn't even know if I should continue to play the game.
Really cute mod, I love this little customizations to the game, but I was wondering if it is possible to add a color to each heart, instead of being one per two levels? Thank you in advance. <3
hello! loving the mod so far. i noticed that the 10-heart icon is static unlike the previous hearts and i was wondering if this is intentional? for reference i have custom colors for each heart icon and have the 10-heart set as a heart icon as well.
Huh, I'll look into that. It's probably a bug on my end - I was awake later than I should have been when I tested and published it and I think I forgot to bugtest that option, haha. Thank for reporting it!

1) Upscaled HD version to match with Talkohlooeys portraits?
2) Circles/dots from vanilla stardew as options?
I have a small issue though, whenever I set Keep10HeartStar to ColouredHeart I get this error:
