This is just what I needed to make the Runaway Teen Challenge much more Challenging and would work well with the Shoplift mod. Thank you Slothsoft for making this mod. Now I can begin making Stardew Valley Runaway Teen Challenge. All I would need is a Pickpocket Mod and the challenge is golden.
For the brewers challenge, does it count money made from pale ale because I feel like my pale ale isn't counting? I've been producing a full shed of pale ale nearly every day, but my challenge total isn't going up.
Edit: I grabbed screenshots two days in a row. On the 7th of Spring the mod said I had earned a total of 1,292,456 towards the 5,000,000 goal. Overnight I sold 32,480 in beer and 85,260 in pale ale. I checked the mod totals the next day and it still said I had earned 1,292,456. So it isn't counting anything I sell. Maybe isn't counting anything that isn't sold from the main shipping bin?
Hello, for some reason I'm receiving the challenge bunny almost daily on the mail, to the point that I have 10+ of them on my farmhouse.. Maybe it's because I haven't issued a challenge yet?
I ran into this issue. For me it turned out the reason was because I was keeping the bunny inside the house. If you're doing the same try putting one outside next/near to your shipping bin and see if that makes it stop.
This is such a cool idea! i'll definitely be trying these on my next run. I did a hermit run a while back, and really enjoyed it, but had to follow it with a no fishing run because hermit run involved so much fishing.
If you're not sick of adding new challenges, can I suggest: get to the bottom of the mines without swords or axes? i.e. daggers and slingshots only. (Medium: also to floor 25 of skull cavern; Hard: also to floor 100 of skull cavern and/or the Ginger Island forge)
Haha! This sounds like a hard challenge! This would mean you would fail the challenge if you use a sword or axe? Or is this more like Qi's challenge where the mines get restarted completely? Or maybe you just can't wield these weapons once the challenge is started?
I was thinking, the weapon you get from Marlon is a carving knife (I think that's the name of the lv1 knife?) and all weapons available in the shop and through rewards/drops are daggers of varying kinds.
(This was mostly inspired by me trying and failing to survive more than 10 levels of Stardew Roguelike, which involved a lot of time trying to do with a dagger what I'd usually do with a sword.)
Just finished the No Capitalist run - so much fun. Next challenge I want to do is Brewery - can you make it so that there is a running total of how much money you've made from selling beer? I've played a few days and sold a few beers and it still just says "Goal: Sell 2,500,000." I appreciated the percentage tracker from No Capitalist; any way to do that with the Brewery and Winery challenges?
Ah, good it showed up. I've tested it yesterday and it always showed up for me, so I wanted to ask for details and then forgot ^^' So good think it worked out without me doing anything.
If you're taking suggestions, how about a "local economics" challenge that changes the sales bin? (Possible lore: due to The War that Kent is home from, the ability to ship goods outside Stardew Valley is limited.)
Easy: sales bin is replaced with the mini bin that only takes nine stacks Medium: sales bin is replaced with the mini bin, and up by the railroad Hard: no sales bin at all
Goal could be a bank balance to try to get anyway (selling food to Pierre, fish to Willy, etc.), or something expensive like the gold clock.
This challenge sounds really interesting. I'm currently playing with a friend, and he almost never uses the shipping bin, he always trades all our crop with Pierre for new seeds. He wouldn't find this much of a challenge at all ^^ I'm currently working on more general stuff for this mod (and got distracted by my other mod for a bit), but I'll revisit new challenges later.
Do you accept ideas? Stamina Conservation Challenge, like what's in this Seanie Dew video: -Easy: Only sprinting drains stamina -Hard: Sprinting and walking drains stamina
Thanks, this is such an interesting challenge (and such a fun video). I didn't even know you could walk and sprint in this game. Right now I have a couple general things I want to do in this mod, but I'll keep this in mind when going back to creating challenges. :)

Not sure about reward.
