It's only for the themed scarecrow version, but you can edit the sprites in the png to be the other set of cats if you wish. I also made a custom catcrow for the deluxe scarecrow in lieu of the original mod having one that hopefully matches the artstyle well enough, but slightly scarier to justify the increased radius :)

I know this is a very late reply, but download the whole folder "Catcrows" and place it in your "Mods" folder You need to have SMAPI installed and Content Patcher in your Mods folder as well
I love this mod so much but when I tried to use it for the new 1.6 it didn't work very well, I could still see the catcrows but it replaced the images of a lot of the new items ConcernedApe added to the game (like the mushroom log and text sign), not just the images of the scarecrows. Please let me know when this can be updated/fixed! Keep up the great work!
late reply but you can always edit the in game textures to be the catcrows! although you will need an xnb unpacker and a program to edit the files with ^^;;
This mod seems to remove or alter the textures for other craftables in the game. Removing the craftables.xnb folder with the original fixes that problem. Is there a solution for this? I love the mod but don't want other textures missing or replaced.
There are like 4 different retextures I like (not counting both of the options here!!), is there a way to make it randomize between them whenever I make a new scarecrow?

i saw your files in the dropbox, but i have no idea which to download and where to put them to have them work in game. could you pls explain?
You need to have SMAPI installed and Content Patcher in your Mods folder as well
It should unless sprite sheets were rearranged for some reason but haven't tested
