Hi! you must download the alternative textures mod and then go to the Carpenter's Shop to buy the scissors and apply them to the horse, it's explained in the mod description ^^
i tried this and it did not work : ( I used the shears tool on the horse ( like you use them to shear a sheep ) and the horse was the same i love how it looks on the pictures on nexus though I love that you can put blankets and a bridle on them and the girth is in the right spot if you can help please do i cant find another horse mod like this so i really want to be able to fix it! :! also i could not find any scissors so i used shears i am very confused on that part
Thanks for your feedback. I will try to add more breeds and colors. I would like to spend more time on them all so that each color is more interesting and harmonious.
Hi i hope you are doing well. I would love if you could make these horse custom pets for the new content patcher ! Its very easy to do as well now hopefully you will be up to it if not that's okay too thanks for the great mod.
Okay sounds good! On paritee's BFAV he has a link to a tool page that helps with setup. I have made one before, it's the sprites I'm no good at! I understand if you don't get to it, mods are a lot of work! I just thought it be cool to have all these horses roaming the farm. Thanks for your response!
Looked at this mod and I will say this. I can make sprites, but the basis for barn horses is already there, I think. This is BFAV So Many Horses. This will just replace the sprites from that mod with mine. Hope you like this.
Yeah, I have that one and liked it in the past, but wished the horse sprites to match. So, this works for me! Thank you for taking the time to look into it!
Finally added a version for BFAV. But still, not all horses were changed. Only the first 7 horsecolors (draft) Sprites have been scaled up a bit so that a full grown horse is taller than a sheep. If you notice any error please let me know.
I know it's late, but maybe this will help someone. To install any standard mod for StardewValley, you need to unpack mod archive into the StardewValley\Mods folder (if there is no such folder, create it) All mods inside this folder simply should not be archives like Zip or WinRar. (if there are several folders in the mod archive, this is normal, just throw them in Mods)
Yes, I would like to make more colors of horses. But this will take some time, I don't want to rush. Now is planned- adding saddlebags for horse overhaul, a small change in the long mane and addition of one or two horse colors.
Hayo! This will be my first time using an AT mod - can you explain what you mean by "use the scissor tool"? I've just installed both these mods as well as Alternative Textures, and I'm not really sure how to proceed from here. They've been extractedand put into my Mods folder.
I can make Epona, but not right away. Release an update with only one horse is not right. So I'll have to make some new variations, some of them ..complicated. I just want you to know that this will take time. But Epona is not very difficult, so it will definitely be.
