Process minerals, ore, and monster loot into farmable seeds! This is a great mod for those looking to do "no store" or "no seed purchase" runs. The "Mining-2-Seed Processor requires 25 stone, 10 copper ore, and 5 coal to build and is immediately available to craft. This mod should make mining feel even more rewarding by allowing you to trade most items found in the mines into actual farmable seeds

  • Every single crop seed is directly obtainable from at least 1 mineral with close to half being obtainable from multiple minerals or monster loot, with the best and highest value seeds requiring harder to find materials (see spoiler below for list of item conversions).
  • Most gems will convert to 2 seeds.
  • Bat Wing, Bug Meat, and Bone Fragments require stacks of 5 to initiate the conversion but will provide 5 seeds.
  • Geodes can be directly converted into different seeds but only provide 1 seed per conversion to encourage using Clint to break your geodes for minerals that can be converted into more seeds (which will ultimately be more profitable).
  • If the player inserts Coal into the processor, the processor will generate a random seed but it takes 120 minutes (in-game time) to finish processing, otherwise, everything else takes 20 to 30 minutes of in-game time. I made coal take much longer to process since people could just go and buy coal from Clint and sit at the processor all day. I might also increase ore processing time too since those can also be purchased from Clint. 
  • 10 stone can be converted into 1 mixed seed.
  • 5 x Copper Ore = 1 seed of a random Spring crop. 
  • 5 x Iron Ore = 1 seed of a random Summer crop. 
  • 5 x Gold Ore = 1 seed of a random Fall crop.
  • 5 x Iridium Ore = 3 seeds of a random high-value crop. 
  • 5 x Radioactive Ore = 10 seeds of a random high quality crop. 

There's still some other random drops in the mines and I may eventually add them to this mod if people would like to see it, but I'm mostly trying to keep this focused on minerals, ore, and monster loot drops. Please let me know if you have any feedback such as bugs, or if you have any suggestions for making this mod even better.
